Want to know the best Robin Williams movies? How about the worst Robin Williams movies? Curious about Robin Williams’s box office grosses or which Robin Williams movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Robin Williams movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well, you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.
Robin Williams was one of my favorite actors. I still am in disbelief about how his life came to an end. On the day of his passing, I had just rented his movie, The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. In that movie Robin Williams’ character at the end of this movie said…..”My tombstone will say…”Henry Altman, 1951 dash 2014. I never knew till now it’s not the dates that matter….it’s the dash”. Then his final words in the movie…..”But he also felt at peace in the knowledge that somehow he would live on in the hearts of those who loved him”. Watching this movie on the day Robin Williams passed away was somewhat eerie …especially since his tombstone will now read “Robin Williams, 1951 dash 2014 and the last lines are how many people will remember Mr. Robin Williams. But enough depressing stuff let’s look at his awesome movie career.
His IMDb page shows 102 acting credits from 1977-2015. This page will rank 64 Robin Williams movies from Best to Worst in seven different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in theaters were not included in the rankings.

In the book”Robin”,critics panned many of his movies, including”Dead Poets Society”,Awakenings”,”Jack”,”Patch Adams”.But what the hell do they know!Loved these movies!!
Hey Brenda….I had to stop reading that book. I found it concentrated on the negative stuff so much…that it forget to include all the joy he brought to the world. Patch Adams was a huge hit…..but I can see why critics would not like that movie….but audiences sure did.
Great Stats.
It’s so great to hear about his accolades rather than just the sadness of his passing
His passing is sad of course …..but…..he left so many wonderful movies and wonderful moments behind. His ten year run was one of the most successful tens in the history of movies.
Hey Helakoski…..I agree it is shocking that we are coming up on four years with Robin Williams….thanks for checking out today’s post.
OMG! Four years already? How can that be?
