This was the 1st year that I kept track of the major movie releases for an entire year.  Since then I have been doing it every year.  In 2012, Argo ended up as the highest rated movie of the year.  In 2013, Gravity ended up as the highest rated movie of the year.  In 2014 American Sniper ended up being the top movie of the year.  So to find out the top movie of 2011…you have to check out the massive following table.  Using the sort buttons and search button make it very easy to navigate the table.  Also realize that a movie maxes out the points in the box office category when it reaches $200 million.
