The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.

    • Sort 2019 Movies by the star or stars of the 2019 Movies listed in table
    • Sort 2019 Movies by domestic box office grosses
    • Sort 2019 Movies by wordwide box office grosses
    • Sort by how 2019 Movies were received by critics and audiences.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie.
    • Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each 2019 Movies received….this column will remain 00 / 00 until next February.
    • Sort 2019 Movies by Ultimate Movie Ranking (UMR) Score.  UMR puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.

  1. On the top photo. There are 9 photos of 2019 movies. What movie is the guy that looks like he is in the Matrix. So far, I think Endgame is the best movie I have seen, so it being first will get no complaints from me. I also liked Shazam. My brother-in-law saw Dark Phoenix. His review? Horrible! Glad to see you are still doing these current years. What happened to the up and down columns?

    1. Hey SteinHoF16….I actually do not know….I also do not know what movie that is. I agree with you about Endgame…..good way to end so many stories. Dark Phoenix is being torched by everybody. It is so bad…I am now feeling sorry for the people that made the movie. Glad you like these current years. Good stuff.

  2. I had no idea there have already been this many movies this year. Like how this is set up. Us was a disappointment. Can’t see it being second.

    1. Hey Miles…..yep 96 movies….3 added this morning Godzilla, Ma and Rocketman….with Rocketman getting the best rank so far. I have not seen Us…..but people I work with, were not too impressed with that one….but it made a good amount of money, the professional critics loved it and most audiences liked it. I will have to see it before deciding where I am in this debate. Glad you found our 2019 yearly page, thanks for the feedback.

  3. HI BRUCE The Cogerson site is nothing if not topical and hot on the heels of the 1992/93 annual reviews comes this year’s! I have not yet got around to watching much that is on your tables but, for openers, I do intend to see

    (1) Glass. A respectable 68% from you and who among Willis admirers could resist one of his current offerings?

    (2) Cold Pursuit which you give a nice 73% rating. It looks though as if Liam’s heyday at the box office could have finished. His recent releases have been substantially abysmal commercially and his last Cogerson 100-million-dollar barrier crasher was 7 years ago with Taken 2.

“Voted Up!” for among other things the usual painstaking attention to detail in its coverage of the movie market place in a given year [or part thereof].

    1. Hey Bob….thanks for checking out our 2019 movie page…..already up to 70 movies…two starring Bruce Willis and one starring Michael Caine. I have only seen three of these movies so far. I saw Shazam! and Glass in theaters….and I just watched A Dog’s Journey Home on home entertainment.

As for Glass…..it was ok….but….when given a chance to watch again…I passed. Not a good sign. It is getting very mixed reviews. I have not seen Cold Pursuit…but have heard that it is better than I was thinking. His last movie, The Commuter….was pretty bad.

Good feedback…..having fun keeping this page updated….thanks for the visit.

  4. Figured I had to do this page now, as Bruce Willis sits on top of so many rankings here…he will not be here long. My tally is 1. But it will grow as time passes on.
