  1. This afternoon Mom and I went to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Since the movie is about classic Hollywood I wanted to see it. It was my first Quentin Tarantino movie, although I have seen several Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt movies. WE really enjoyed the movie a lot, especially the references to classic Hollywood people, shows and movies. I knew from Bruce’s review and other reviews how it was going to end, but actually I knew all about the tragedy before so I would not have been surprised anyways. I see why some people would say it was in bad taste. However, the whole movie story-line was leading up to it I’d give it four stars out of five.

    1. Hey Flora…that is awesome that you have now seen a Quentin Tarantino movie. Pretty soon I will be reading that you watched Pulp Fiction….lol. Glad you enjoyed the movie. As for the ending of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood…..I just felt turning that night into a comedy was in bad taste. I liked how the movie ended…..just wish maybe he would have picked a different night to re-enact that horrible night. Thanks for the review…and good to see you give it such high marks. Good stuff.

    1. Hey SteinHoF16…..good to hear from you. Hope all is going well. Glad you enjoyed Joker so much….I have yet to see it. I did see the Addams Family today….and was not impressed. I would have rather seen Joker….but not thinking my 10 year old was ready for Joaquin’s Joker…lol. Good stuff.

  2. Last night I watched my first 2019 movie of the year: Rocketman. I watched at home “on demand” from my cable provider. I loved it. I do love musical bio-pics. I learned a lot about Elton John I had not known.

    1. Awesome to see Flora commenting on a 2019 page. Glad you stopped by and really glad you enjoyed Rocketman. That is indeed a very entertaining movie…with an excellent performance from Taron Egerton. I was right there with you….learned a lot about Elton John that I never knew before. Good stuff.

  3. I have now seen 37 of these movies…..including 8 of them in theaters. So far Avengers End Game, Hotel Mumbai and Shazam are my favorites.
