42 Million Views

*We used to update this page at every million mark.  When we reached 30 million we stopped.  We figure with this new highlight it was time to update the entire page.

November 2022 – We have now reached 42 million views.

We have now had 30 million views since starting our little movie blog back in 2011.  Not too bad for a mom and pop operation.  Granted, it took almost 10 years and three different websites and over 8,000 movie pages.  The good news is that views keep growing and growing.  For that, we thank you….without the support of the readers….there is no way we would still have a website.

So, to get a ton of useless stats out of our movie notebooks and on to a webpage…we thought we would list the stats behind the 30 million views.  So we have broken down our stats from our first webpage…HubPages.com…..our second webpage…CogersonMovieScore.com (RIP) and our third and hopefully finally webpage – UltimateMovieRankings.com.

  1. Congratulations on 17,000,000 views, Bruce!

Interesting that the same pages remain your most popular pages over time.

    1. Hey Flora….thanks for the visit and the kind words. At this point the Top 40 do not change too much…..a few move up a little….pretty sure “your” Gregory Peck page has moved up a lot over the last year to 18 months.. Having almost 40 pages reach 50,000 views each has always amazed me. FYI…..the Top 10 in 2018 (we have already crossed the 4 million mark this year)

      10th Elvis
      9th Bruce Willis
8th World War 2 Movie Marathon
7th Burt Reynolds (sadly it was his passing that got him on this list)
      6th Abbott and Costello
      5th John Wayne
      4th Pixar vs Dreamworks
      3rd Black Hawk Down Page
      2nd Marvel vs DC
      1st All-Time Ticket Sales

Mr. Peck is in 16th place with 13,411 views this year…I know…way too much information….lol.

  2. Impressive numbers Bruce, congrats on reaching 17m views. Well done amigo.

How many pages have you got indexed here so far? Have you counted them?

    1. Hey Steve….thanks for the congrats. Let’s see…how many pages do we now have…..right now…we have 4,228 pages and 1,118 posts out there in the world wide web pulling in views. I think it is closing in on 1,000 movie subjects and about 3,200 trailer pages. The trailers pages have been a pleasant surprise when it comes to views….especially since they do not take too long to put together. Thanks for helping us reach 17 million views.

  3. HI BRUCE

    Well done!

Actually the number of views you have now received all but equal the number of votes cast by Steve, me, droves of “Little Englanders” and many others FOR Brexit – 17.41 million. Good things often bunch in pairs!

    1. Thanks Bob. I appreciate the kind words. Looks like I have to get a few more views to top the Brexit votes….but we are coming…lol. Thanks again.

  4. Hey Bruce,

Congratulations for this new million ! In only 86 days, 11 500 viewed by day ! Impressive.
The stats are very interested. John Wayne most viewed by India ? Elvis and James Stewart in Mumbaï and New Delhi. I’m very suprised. As much as by Abbott & Costello in France. You know they are practically forget in France. Their movies are never broadcast in french TV, and only six are available on DVD.

Again, congratulations and continue like this.

    1. Hey Laurent….thanks for the kudos on our new 17 million mark. On the table you mentioned….those are not connected lines. The first column is Top Pages by View. The second column is the overall Sources. Then it is countries……and then cities. I guess I tried to cram too much information into one table. Sorry about that.

But….I can figure out the answers to that.

For example. Our John Wayne page has been viewd the most in London, New York and Chicago.

Our Abbott and Costello page has been viewed the most in Los Angles, New York and Sydney.

  5. Today, somebody in Sheffield, England viewed our Elvis Presley Movie Ranking Page. That is cool…but even cooler….it was the 17 millionth view for our pages. 86 days between million view thresholds. Thank you for all the support, visits and comments.
