42 Million Views

*We used to update this page at every million mark.  When we reached 30 million we stopped.  We figure with this new highlight it was time to update the entire page.

November 2022 – We have now reached 42 million views.

We have now had 30 million views since starting our little movie blog back in 2011.  Not too bad for a mom and pop operation.  Granted, it took almost 10 years and three different websites and over 8,000 movie pages.  The good news is that views keep growing and growing.  For that, we thank you….without the support of the readers….there is no way we would still have a website.

So, to get a ton of useless stats out of our movie notebooks and on to a webpage…we thought we would list the stats behind the 30 million views.  So we have broken down our stats from our first webpage…HubPages.com…..our second webpage…CogersonMovieScore.com (RIP) and our third and hopefully finally webpage – UltimateMovieRankings.com.

  1. Wow! Congrats on 20 million views! Well done Bruce, WoC and all the other UMR gang members. 🙂 Very impressive indeed.

    Pixar vs Dreamworks still rules on page views. John Wayne the no.1 actor at UMR, nice!

    Good to see Elvis so high up on page views.

    The most viewed actor on my video channel is Keira Knightley with 209,000 views and she didn’t even make your top 50.

    But I do have a video with more than a million views – Top 30 Sci-Fi 2010-2015.

    1. Hey Steve….thanks for the kudos…..a good number…and the last one we will bring attention to…..luckily they million marks are coming faster and faster…that some of the totals are not really changing enough to interest me looking at every couple of months. Will stick to yearly views and 10 million milestones. It looks like 20 of the 50 most viewed could fall into the modern day era…while 30 or 60% would fall into the classic era. Elvis has been a great view getter for us.

      I have been envious of your million viewed Top 30 Sci-Fi 2010-2015. Just the other day UMR got it’s first million view page….but it was like kissing your sister…..as it was the SiteIndex….but heck we will take it.

      Your Keira video has been an awesome success….she has not had that luck on UMR….right now she sits 492nd place…with only 6,424 views so far….only about 200,000 views behind your video. Good stuff. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Congratulations on reaching 19,000,000 views. Glad to see so many classic star pages leading views, especially Gregory Peck.

    1. Thank you Flora….and thank you helping me reach this million marker. Gregory Peck has been one of best view getters. The rankings at the top of this page were when we hit 17 million…since then he has moved up some. He has gotten almost 50,000 views since moving to UMR. He recently got passed by Doris Day….as her page got lots of views after her passing. Thanks as always for all of your support.

  3. Congrats on 19 million views Bruce. A million more views in just 74 days? wow.

    The url for this page still says 6 million views, how many years ago was that?

    Looking at the chart for best viewed pages, surprised to see Charlie Sheen on there with all the legends, people fascinated by his movie career? He’s the youngest actor on the list and Charlize Theron the youngest actress.

    20 million views by end of summer?

    1. Hey Steve…when I did the 6 million celebration…..I posted the page on December 18th, 2015. So in the 3 and half years since I have had another 12 million views. I know some YouTubers get a million views a video….but for this little mom and pop operation…I am pretty pleased with our total 19 million views.

      I have been lazy on updating the most popular pages….they have not been updated since hitting 17 million….the plan is to update the pages when we hit 20 million. Charlie’s page was very popular when he was having his “I’m winning” meltdown….it has slowed a lot since then….looking at the current list. When I look at his chart….it is almost a flat line of little traffic since the middle of 2017. I guess I need him to do something crazy again…lol. Actually, I am glad his life has calmed down…even if his views have decreased. As for Charlize….she just keeps rolling along. She was the first page at Cogerson Movie Score….and has been our 28th most popular here at UMR with almost 47,000 views since we started.

      I am hoping this massive amount of traffic continues…and by the middle of the summer we will reach 20 million….fingers crossed. Thanks for all the support for all of these years. It has been greatly appreciated.

  4. Hello Bruce,

    Congratulations for this results, it is not so far away it was 10 000K Views, i remenber that you were very glad fot this first résultat;
    I remembered the first time i was in your site, i found it because i try to get the box office of Gary Cooper for Morocco and Desire and i was surprised because you have a lot of box office of classic stars, it was very interresting and i have to say that i come very often from that time.
    I think one of your new page in that time was for Lana Turner and there was a lot of blue on the pages;
    Anyway, bravo and i am going to drink, à votre santé, a big glass of Muscadet
    Cheers
    Pierre
