November 2022 – We have now reached 42 million views.
We have now had 30 million views since starting our little movie blog back in 2011. Not too bad for a mom and pop operation. Granted, it took almost 10 years and three different websites and over 8,000 movie pages. The good news is that views keep growing and growing. For that, we thank you….without the support of the readers….there is no way we would still have a website.
So, to get a ton of useless stats out of our movie notebooks and on to a webpage…we thought we would list the stats behind the 30 million views. Hey bob cox….thanks for the suggestion….we are a long way from having to actually accepting donations. WoC was thinking about the expenses of this hobby and compared it to her first husband..he liked motorcycles….and that was considerable more expensive than this website…which actually does bring money…which motorcycles never did. Just when we see how the expenses growing so rapidly….it is hard not to think when the hobby cost nothing (HubPages days) to about $50 a year (CogersonMovieScore days) to what we are paying now we at Blue Host (UMR days). WoC and I laugh when we see their ads…..start your website for as little as $2.99 a month. I think that is the average 10 people per day program…lol. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Even though there are still 6 full days to go in the month…..April 2020 is already the greatest month in UMR history when looking at views on the website.
695,516 views as of about 5 minutes ago….that tops last month’s record of 660,369 views. For the year, UMR is up 80% over 2019. It blows my mind this mom and pop operation is getting so many views. Thanks for all the support.

Lots of statistical marks the last few days.
1. Yesterday, April 9th, 2020 was our 9th best day on the website with over 28,000 views. 2020 now has 15 of the Top 20 days in our history.
2. Today we reached our 24th million view.
3. We went from 23 million to 24 million in about 45 days…easily the fastest we have ever reached a new million mark.
