1 My brother was telling me that in a recent interview Clint said that he though that 100 years from now the only one of today’s stars who would be remembered was Cruise.
2 Turning to Clint’s old mate Burt R I see that your adjusted gross for Physical Evidence is $7.6 mil which equates to an actual gross of $3.5 mil and sure enough Box Office Mojo gives an actual gross of $3,56 whereas the Numbers states a figure of $12 mi which adjusts to $25 mil approx. We have discussed before how the sources can vary significantly but have you any thoughts on this latest contradiction albeit in relation to a very minor grosser whichever figure is correct?
Hey Bob…1. Interesting that Clint thinks Tom Cruise will be the last man standing. I have always found it interesting that nobody seems to claim to be a Cruise fan….but for almost 35 years he is appeared in one smash hit after another. 2. As for Physical Evidence….of I had to guess…..they have taken an adjusted gross….and adjusted it again. That is the only thing I see…..if they are getting their information from a source (say UMR) and then do not realize that most of our numbers are adjusted already….then I can see it reaching $12 million. In the end…I bow to BoxOfficeMojo are this one…as it seems they have the box office to the penny. I used to have that same problem when finding grosses in autobiographies or biographies…never knew for sure if the author was listing rentals or gross numbers.

Thanks for reply. That would explain it.
