Merry Christmas everyone! Another half hour and I’ll be watching my usual Xmas day epic Ben-Hur, the William Wyler version of course. Hopefully it’ll finish before friends and relatives arrive, they will much rather watch something more recent.
Hey Steve….Merry Christmas from us to you as well. Hope you enjoyed your annually Ben-Hur viewing. After our Christmas dinner somebody turned the television to TCM….and there was Ben-Hur and about 15 of us watched about 10 minutes of the movie. Son 2 who claims to know as much about movies as me was in the room. The scene was with Chuck and Hugh Griffith….I asked him who Griffith was and he had no idea that Griffith was an Oscar winner…or that Griffith won his Oscar for the movie he was watching…young puck thinks he knows it all…lol. Anyway when the movie popped up I thought about you in London watching the same movie. Happy holidays.
