Want to know the best Orlando Bloom movies? How about the worst Orlando Bloom movies? Curious about Orlando Bloom’s box office grosses or which Orlando Bloom movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Orlando Bloom movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.
Usually when I finish doing a movie page, I will tell my teenagers….”Hey check out the new page I just published”…..they usually respond with a…”Who is it this time?…..”interesting” …..”nice”……or my personal favorite…..”whatever”. Late last week, I told my 20 year old son that I had just published a Alfred Hitchcock page…..he slowly looked from up his iPad and said….”Dude why don’t you do a page with somebody that still has a pulse?” After receiving this constructive criticism, I asked my 19 year old daughter which actor would make a good movie page subject.
Orlando Bloom came to her mind almost immediately. Orlando Bloom might take some criticism for his acting style, but few would knock the movies he has appeared in over the years. One of his first roles was playing PFC. Todd Blackburn (the soldier that fell out of the helicopter) in 2001’s Black Hawk Down. He had his break-through roles, as the elf-prince Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and as blacksmith Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Probably the best Dual Iconic Roles since Harrison Ford played both Han Solo and Indiana Jones.
His IMDb page shows over 40 acting credits since 1994. This page will rank Orlando Bloom movies from Best to Worst in seven different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in theaters were not included in the rankings.
Bloom next took to the screen as Paris, the man who effectively started the Trojan War in 2004’s hit movie Troy co-starring Brad Pitt and Peter O’ Toole. In 2005, Bloom appeared in Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven, which did mild business at the box office, but has gained a following with the release of a Director’s Cut on DVD. Some critics consider the Director’s Cut to be one of the best movies of the 2000s. Since the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End in 2007, Bloom stepped out of the Hollywood limelight. He started appearing on smaller projects like appearing on stage in London and appearing in supporting roles in small budget films. In 2013, Bloom, returned to the world of box office hits as he appeared as Legolas in the final two parts of The Hobbit trilogy.

I recommend Orlando Bloom’s Carnival Row. Fun show. Best thing he has done years.
Hey Nate G. I have been seeing ads for Carnival Row all over the internet. I will have to check out that show…especially with your mini-review of it. I am a big Orlando Bloom fan. Thanks for stopping by.
The only movie I would even consider seeing above is ranked last with a score of .09
Would NEVER watch any Lord of the Rings, Hobbit or Pirates CRAP.
Does this guy not know hot to choose a role? And speaking of Katy Perry,
choosing a suitable girlfriend?
Something is seriously wrong with this page. Looks like every UMR page has a link at the top.
Now that is a lot links. It is overshadowing Ollie’s page.
Hey Helakoski….yep….that heading had all 3,024 UMR Links……..but the error has been fixed.
Thanks Taylor…..that was an experiment that went drastically wrong….and then was forgotten about…..until you noticed it.
HI BRUCE – RE DEPP and BLOOM
1 I think that I’ve said before that Depp seems intent on stealing Russell Crowe’s mantle as Hollywood’s “bad boy” and I read recently that he on one occasion cut off his own finger in a jealous lover’s rage. Marvellous actor though.
2 I don’t know much about Orlando other than what I’ve learned from what you’ve said above..When i first saw him in the Rings franchise I thought he looked a bit like Roger Federer.
Hey Bob.
1. Seems all of Depp’s publicity is bad publicity these days. Even Pirates 5 seems to be doing worst than expected…and that is his Willis’ Die Hard, Smith’s Men In Black and Jackman’s Wolverine movies. I will be watching his career with great interest…as he approaches 60. Will ever grab that lightning in the bottle ever again?
2. Orlando is right now in my Top 10 of actors…..but like Judd Nelson….his tenure might be running out of gas….but for awhile…..he was the “bees knees” to me. Interesting about Bloom and Federer looking alike.
Good stuff.
For awhile there he was on a roll. The Errol Flynn of our times. Seems like all of his movies are low budget invisible movies. Maybe he will bounce back or Peter Jackson will make another Middle Earth trilogy.
