So…about a month ago we got serious about making this website dynamic. After spending every spare minute on the update, I have finally finished the section of “flipping” (WoC’s wording as me take a page from static to dynamic) of the pages….WoC gave me a list of 512 movie pages…..and I am now done with those 512. Ok two of them still need some WoC TLC….but my part is done!
We have 714 active UMR pages out there. I just flipped 512 pages or 71.70% of the pages. 76 of the pages are individual movies….and do not need to be flipped. So that is a total of 588 pages done….or 82.35%.
That leaves 126 UMR pages. Next step is to go through those movie links and figured out which ones need to be flipped. Guessing about 60% of the pages are “essays” or “non movie links”….which would only leave about 50 pages left……so in a nutshel…and for us the really really good news is…..we are 93% done!
Another new development is WoC pulled in MetaCritic Scores for over 20,000 movies…..might not sound to impressive….but the addition of MetaCritic Score has changed many many scores….including….a new #1 UMR movie…..as with that update….The Godfather has fallen to #2. Don Corleone is not happy!
This post of course begs the question if The Godfathet is no longer number one what is and which page shows it?
Hey In The Shadows….currently Lawrence of Arabia has over taken the top spot with The Godfather in the runner up spot. Eventually I will get our new UMR Top Movie page up and running…it is one of two pages not yet dynamic. WoC is working on that upgrade this weekend…the other page is the bottom UMR movies. Seems there are some coding issues that make it impossible to make those two pages dynamic…but I think WoC will fix that issue very soon. Thanks for the visit and the comment.
