I saw Northwest Passage which I thought was great along with the very bad Plymouth Adventure at the Regency Revival theater in NYC.
Ever see those weird movies on TCM where they combine episodes of the TV series Northwest Passage into movies. The series uses a lot of footage from the 1940 film and then they make movies from this too.
Ah Bob went out with Secret of the Incas, featuring the Voice of Xtabay herself, Yma Sumac. Once heard you’ll never forget or maybe try to forget her vocalizing . 3 of the songs on Yma’s debut LP Voice of the Xtabay are used in the film. That album was #1 for 6 weeks in 1951 on Billboard.
