UMR Review of Deadfall (1968)
This was the 100th Michael Caine movie that I have watched. Somehow this one had escaped me. In this one Caine plays thief who gets mixed up with a married couple. This one moves at a snail’s pace. The ending does not make any sense at all. Even worse than not making sense, is that ending stinks! The highlight of the movie is a scene that shows Caine breaking into a house while cutting back and forth to an orchestra playing. Final thought: Not one of Caine’s all-time stinkers…but this one is not very good.
