I like Guy Pearce but going down the list, I was surprised I only saw 7 of his movies. Cogerson, 26! You must be a fan. However, among the few I saw, he was very memorable. Memento was amazing, LA Confidential was excellent, Priscilla was a lot of fun, and the Count of Monte Cristo was a pretty good remake. Will try to check out Brimstone as you recommend. All and all, I think Pearce is a very talented actor who deserves more attention. Thanks for the page.

Hey Dan
1. As always….thank you.
2. I moved this comment from the Pearce post of the day….so it would stay with the article forever.
3. Interesting that he is not on the list currently….he has been a very busy actor for the last 30 years…and does not seem to be slowing down at all.
4. Surprisingly not many multiple Oracle co-stars….though a handful have been in two movies with him.
5. I actually watched Results on Netflix the other day….it was actually weird hearing his natural voice in that one….as he got to play an Aussie fitness trainer.
6. Second list is pretty small….much smaller than I would have guessed.
Good information as always.
Guy Pearce, good subject. I should mark him down for future video charting.
I’ve seen 16 of the 48 films on the chart, one third. Favorites include – The Hurt Locker, The Time Machine, Iron Man 3, LA Confidential, The Count of Monte Cristo, Alien Covenant, Bloodshot and Lockout.
The top 3 critics favorites are Best Picture Oscar nominees and 2 of them won. Oh I see they are mentioned in the trivia box. 🙂
Guy Pearce was born in England and moved to Australia as a child, ditto Naomi Watts. Oh and Sam Worthington too.
Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!
Hey Steve…..thanks for the feedback on our Guy Pearce page. I have seen 26 of these movies. I have seen all of your favorites….I liked them all as well…..with the exception of Bloodshot…did not like that one at all. I would highly recommend his western Brimstone….that is the movie that he plays one of the worst villains ever…..his role as a preacher in that one makes Robert Mitchum’s preacher in The Night Of The Hunter look like a boy scout. As for Lockout…that movie seems to be building a nice cult following. Good stuff as always.
