UMR Review of A Day To Die (2022)

Another Bruce Willis/Frank Grillo straight to home entertainment movie. I think this is their third movie together. If you added up my ratings of all three of those movies, you might be getting close to a 4-star rating. I actually thought the first half was decent. The final act is horrible as it throws so many things at the screen and none of it makes sense.

As for my man Bruce, he does not look as bored as he usual does in these movies. Grillo pops up about every 15 minutes for a scene and then disappears. The best role in the movie goes to Leon Robinson who plays one of the bad guys. Sadly, his plot twists at the end of the movie pretty much derail the movie even more. Final thought: First half of the movie reaches the lofty heights of average, while the second half fails to reach those lofty heights.
