Want to know the best Angelina Jolie movies? How about the worst Angelina Jolie movies? Curious about Angelina Jolie’s box office grosses or which Angelina Jolie movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Angelina Jolie movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.
Angelina Jolie (1975-) is probably one of the most famous people in the world….but how did she get there?……let’s see….first of all Jolie is the daughter of Oscar® winning actor, Jon Voight….not a bad start. She has appeared in over 30 theatrical movies and has won an Oscar® and 3 Golden Globe® awards. She has had box office success with two Tomb Raider movies, two Kung Fu Panda movies, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Maleficent. She is an UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. She has been in some high profile relationships with actors Billy Bob Thornton and some guy named Brad Pitt. And of course she is a very sexy woman. So other than good looks, box office success, acting ability, friends and family in high places and being a humanitarian …I just can’t figure it out.
Her IMDb page shows over 55 acting credits since 1982. This page will rank Angelina Jolie movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in North American theaters were not included in the rankings.

Hi Bob, this is the pitts! Does Angie still call herself Jolie-Pitt after the split with Brad? tsk tsk Shouldn’t it be Angelina Jolie-Split instead?”
HI STEVE Excellent [and humorous] point. It’s all a bit confusing thought because according to Wikipedia Angie (1)is “formerly Jolie-Pitt” but (2) on the other hand is also known as Angelina Jolie-Pitt. Maybe it’s something to do with the fact that her 6 kids are all legally called Jolie-Pitt so she uses that name in connection with them as she petitioned the courts to have them called Jolie-Pitt.
Maybe the courts will reverse the name-change at some stage. However Whatever the eventual situation, please though, don’t you EVER AGAIN suggest she should be called Angelina Jolie SPLIT – or The Work Horse will be giving all of her grosses to Bruce Willis!
🙂 And so many children too, are any of them their biological kids, or all adopted? Has Brad actually fathered any of them? If he has than Pitt should be on the birth certificate. Or are they all hand-picked from various third world countries? 😉

HI STEVE. Full details of Angie’s children are in Part 2 which I hope answers your questions.
It seems the first 3 kids were adopted by Angie and Brad and that she gave birth to Shiloh and the twins Knox and Vivienne, of all three of whom Brad was the biological father.
You probably know that when “daddy’s girl” Angie debuted in movies at the age of 7 she went under the name of Angelina Jolie-Voight. She sure hasn’t been short of names in her lifetime!
And it is further complicated by the existence of a Jolie-Pitt Foundation which the couple established in 2006 to help with humanitarian crises around the world. In fact when the twins were born the Jolie-Pitts sold the very first images of them to Hello and People magazines for a still record sum of $14 million which they donated to their Foundation.
It’s a pity they have split up as they have obviously done much great charitable work as a team.
Whew – pulling together those tongue-twisting names was mind tiring to the extent that I found myself typing in at one stage Joel-ey Pitt! Hope your weekend is going well.

Bob, many thanks for all the detailed info on the Jolie-Pitt brood, it is appreciated.
So they are the biological parents of three of the kids, did not know that. I thought Jolie was collecting them as someone might collect stamps from around the world. 🙂
Looking at the posters I used on the video, only one has the name Angelina Jolie-Pitt and that was ‘By the Sea’ which came out in 2015 and was directed by Angie.
Interestingly on the next film she directed ‘First They Killed My Father’ (2017) she had gotten rid of ‘Pitt’ and was back to being Jolie.
Hey Steve and Bob. Interesting give and take on Angelina Jolie and her movies. I have always been amazed that her page is not too popular here at UMR. Her page was one of the first 50 pages done…yet has not taken off at any of the websites. Looking at my list…..she is ranked 524th of our pages. Right ahead of M. Night and right below Jamie Foxx. I hope Steve’s video does much better than our movie pages. Good stuff from the both of you.
