  1. Sexy Angie get’s a UMR page, lovely. Thanks for the video share, it is appreciated.

I’ve seen 9 of the 30 films on the chart, favorites are – Rio Bravo, Dressed to Kill, The Killers and Point Blank.

Angie will be 90 next year? Wow!

I haven’t seen Captain Newman MD, will catch it next time it’s on TV.

    Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve….yep Angie Dickinson finally got an UMR page. Tally count – Steve 9, you 8 and me 7. Congrats on your win. I have seen all of your favorites with the exception of The Killers….which I want to see. Love Rio Bravo, Point Blank and Dressed To Kill. That is some good co-stars in your favorite Angie movies…Wayne, Marvin and Caine. I have seen Captain Newman MD, it is a good movie….but a little depressing. Worth seeing just to see legends Peck, Tony Curtis and a young Robert Duvall working together. Good comment…and thanks for the votes up.

      1. Hey Bruce, I thought I would chime in here because having seen 10 of Angie Dickinson’s movies on your list, it’s the first time I can boast to have beaten you, Steve and Flora 🙂
And I’m not even a big fan of Angie, though I really liked her in Dressed to Kill. Other favorites are Rio Bravo, The Killers (good remake of the Burt Lancaster-Ava Gardner classic) and The Chase. I recently saw Captain Newman M.D. and was a little bit disappointed, but that’s probably seeing it from today’s awareness of psychotherapy. Angie had a larger role than I expected, but Tony Curtis ends up having more of a supporting role despite the fact that at the time, he was at least as popular as Gregory Peck.

  2. I have seen 8 Angie Dickinson movies.

The HIGHEST ranked movie I have seen is Rio Bravo.

The highest rated movie I have NOT seen is Dressed to Kill.

The LOWEST rated movie I have seen is The Last Challenge.

    Favourite Angie Dickinson Movies;

    Point Blank
    Captain Newman, MD
    Ocean’s 11

    Other Angie Dickinson Movies:

    Rio Bravo
    Cast a Giant Shadow
    Tension at Table Rock
    The Last Challenge

    1. Hey Flora….thanks for stopping by, reading and commenting on our Angie Dickinson page. Tally count..and it was close…Steve 9, you 8 and me 7. Not too surprised you have not seen Dressed To Kill. I think Dressed To Kill is more a Hitchcock tribute than a horror flick…plus you get a Michael Caine. I have seen all three of your favories….and 1 of your movies seen. That would be Rio Bravo….which many consider a all-time great western. Good stuff as always.

    1. Hey Dan. As always thanks for sharing these massive lists. As always your efforts are greatly appreciated. Sort of surprised that she is ranked number 543, as it does not seem like she really made that many movies. Looking at the first list, always good to see Michael Caine at the top of any list. It looks like Rod Steiger is his most frequent costar on the first list. Good old John Wayne got three movies with her. Looking at the second list, 29 Oscar winning costars is about average for an actress. Lots of our favorites are on that list. Michael Caine, John Wayne, Lee Marvin, Marlon Brando, Gregory Peck, Tom Hanks just to name a few. Good stuff as always.

  4. Angie Dickinson is a national treasure. She has been the object of desire and respect by millions of males and females. She is perhaps the most under appreciated film star in the last fifty years. She should have been honored by Academy Awards for some of her best work like The Killers, Point Blank, Dressed to Kill, and Captain Newman, M.D.
She can dominate any film with subtle gestures, tone of voice, and her presence, much more that a slew of overrated, method-trained thespians. She is also one of the most beautiful and charismatic film stars in film history, a throwback to the Golden Age of Hollywood film stars.
God bless you Angie Dickinson for bringing joy, gladness, and happiness to millions around the world! Here’s to you Miss Dickinson!

    1. Hey Frank. I agree with your first two sentences in your comment 100%. I remember as a boy really enjoying watching her and Police Woman. I agree it is a shame that she never got an Oscar nomination. Apparently the Dressed to Kill producers wanted to promote a nomination for her as best supporting actress but she was not interested in that. She has since said that that was a mistake on her part. I’m glad a fan of hers was able to find our tribute to her. I like your toast at the end. Good job.

  5. Angie has been very busy down the years. On top of her film career covered above she did from 1954 until her retirement in 2009 aged near 80 appear in 26 television movies and in nearly 70 TV series in either lead or supporting/guest roles. One of her TV movies was a 1981 remake of Hitch’s Dial M for murder with Angie in the Grace Kelly role and Christopher Plummer in the Ray Milland part.

My own favourites among her movies/roles are The Duke’s Rio Bravo/Brando’s wife in the chase/Lee Marvin’s gangster double Point Blank and The Killers/Randy Scott’s Shootout at Medicine Bend/Richard Egan’s Tension at Table Rock/ Sir Maurice’s Dressed to Kill/and Charlie Bill Stuart’s The Last Challenge AKA The Pistolero of Red River not covered above.

I last saw Angie as a corrupt and murderous policewoman in a 1997 episode of Dick Van Dyke’s detective series Diagnosis Murder called “Murder Blues”. IMDB credits her with 7 acting awards and 13 noms and Celebrity Net Worth assessed her net wealth in 2016 at $25 million dollars [worth $26 million today per The US Bureau of Labor Statistics] so that at 88 years of age she is obviously currently living a very comfortable old age.

LEGACY: In the TV sitcom Frasier the latter’s father Martin Crane is a passionate Angie Dickinson fan and Frasier and his brother Niles are forever teasing Martin about watching Angie’s movies just as they keep him going about being a fan of Jean Claude Van Damme among the males. The connection between Martin and Angie in the series is that he is a retired police officer and she is probably best known for the TV series Police Woman from 1974-78.

A very welcome new page for my money Bruce so “Vote Up!”

    1. Hey Bob….thanks for visiting and checking out our Angie Dickinson page. I spared the Joel comments…but she is one of his subjects in his book. I have seen three of your favorites….with Rio Bravo and Dressed To Kill being in my Top 5 of her movies. I agree…she was a very busy actress. The most recent movie I have seen with her was The Chase with Marlon Brando. Speaking of Brando…I intended to watch his The Men today….but I have misplaced my DVD of that movie. Good information on her awards, her television career and her Frasier connection. Thanks for the vote up.
