April 16th – Happy Easter – Movie Identification Challenge – 100 Movies How Many Do You Know?

So for weeks…I have been working on my Personal Top 100 Movies….well….I am almost complete.  I am finished with all of the photos I created…..so I thought I would put all of my Top 100 here with just the photos.  Which makes me wonder who can name all 100 movies?  There are actually 101 photos….with one movie having two photos.  Most are pretty popular….but there are some surprises…which would fall into the …”Hey…it is the eye of the beholder rule”.

Finally….the movies shown are my favorites..not the ones I think are the best.  I think Schlinder’s List is an awesome movie…..yet it was a one and done movie for me.  I might re-watch it one more time…but that will be years from now.  Meanwhile..any of these 100 could be watched today.

    1. Hey Dan….thanks for playing our little quiz. It looks like you have most of them correct….with a few misses.

The Steve Martin photo of him in a red shirt cowboy outfit is from Parenthood.
The John Wayne movie is El Dorado….made a couple of years before True Grit
The Paul Newman movie is Cool Hand Luke….those are eggs that he is looking at.

The rest are 100%. The remaining movies can be found here….on our latest page. https://www.ultimatemovierankings.com/favorite-movies-time/

    1. Hey BryRog57….beat by your little brother…..that has to sting….lol. Thanks for checking out our “little quiz”.

  2. Just a quick break down that will have you looking at the screen thinking….where did I go wrong?

    Comedy-14
    Western- 4
    Michael Caine- 5
    Foreign- 3
    Crime- 6
    Sci Fi- 13
    Bruce- 7
    Fantasy- 8
    Chick- 3
    Thriller- 2
    Cary- 2
    Thriller- 2
    War- 6
    Misc- 3

So the test of knowledge for you, which ones haven’t I seen? The thriller section in particular makes me disappointed in myself…

    1. Hey Scotty….78…..is pretty impressive…..with you missing 5 of the Cary Grant movies. I did not push classics on you….so if you throw out the Grant movies…that would be 76 out of 93…would be 82%…which is close to the 90% Bryan is projecting.

Not disappointed in you….having seen 78 of these movies is pretty impressive. You are running out of time to find Sir Michael Caine…..he is back in London….his Going in Style press stuff is over. 🙂
