  1. HI W o C
1 At least if I can’t always agree with the Work Horse I can agree with his wife that he is a God. But even there we need to be careful what we’re agreeing about W o C as of course there are Good Gods like the Greek ones Apollo and Hermes but there are also Dark Gods like Cthulhu and Yog-Sothoth and Hastur the Unspeakable whom H P Lovecraft writes about!

2 However today Your husband, the Gods of whatever description and I are unimportant because this is YOUR day W o C and one can only hope that you are fully enjoying it.

    1. I am greatly enjoying the non-work part of it. I normallt take the day off of work, but this year a training class was scheduled.

      1. Got to spend the whole day with WoC….a very good day indeed. Thanks for the birthday wishes Bob.

    1. Hey NoC (Nephew of Cogerson)…..wow…..your second and third comment ever on UMR…….that was one in 2017….and 2 in 2018…..the pressure is on….as you need to have 4 comments in 2019….lol. Thanks for wishing your Aunt a Happy Birthday…..good job!

  2. Happy birthday to Wife of Cogerson, Doris Day, Alec Baldwin, Eddie Murphy, and Marlon Brando.

      1. Hey Flora….that is a pretty terrific fivesome born on this day…..thanks for the birthday wishes.

    1. You haven’t heard of Eddie Murphy and Alec Baldwin!

You along with Bruce are regarded as being among the very top experts on sites such as this whilst guys like me are just ordinary humble viewers so that if YOU haven’t heard of those two actors one is reminded of the comment of Colonel Hall Sgt Bilko’s Commanding Officer when told that the ugliest guy in the platoon had just been voted the most handsome soldier on the base –

“My heavens -they’ll be queuing up for miles to see what the rest of us are like!”

      1. Well WoC is the most important of the bunch….so I can see why Steve has forgotten Eddie Brando, Alec Day, Doris Brando and Marlon Murphy…..lol.

    2. Hello Steve,

I love your great sens of humour
Happy birthday WoC and the OTHERS
      Pierre

      1. Thanks Pierre, good to know someone appreciates my sense of humour.

It’s been ages since I last saw The Others, Nicole Kidman right?

        1. Yep The Others starred Nicole Kidman, Bruce Willis and Dustin Hoffman….Kidman and Willis were ghosts….while Hoffman played a child that could talk to gangsters. Classic movie.

      2. Thank you, Pierre!!

I had class today with a gentleman named Guillaume, and he had the most beautiful French accent ever.

      3. I agree Pierre…Mr. Lensman has a wonderful sense of humor. Even if he gets confused about rating movies on his video channel….lol.

      4. Hey Pierre….thanks for the birthday wishes for WoC….they are greatly appreciated.

  3. 1 HI BRUCE I never picked up that two of my idols were born on the same day albeit a couple of years apart so that revelation is another 1st for the Cogerson site in my book. Well done.

2 It is amazing to think that my Doris is 96 when I still clearly remember the 26 year old young girl from It’s Magic [aka Romance on the High Seas] and the 30 something young woman in By the Light of the Silvery Moon, Calamity Jane, Lucky Me etc. Her beautifully clear singing of the title song from It’s Magic has long been in my all-time favourite songs collection

3 W o C should feel herself special too as [apart from being married to a God of course!] she was born on the same day as legends like Doris and Mumbles. To mark that fact not only should you convey to her my birthday wishes but also buy her an extra present and charge it to my account!

4 I always admired the incisiveness of your summing up of Mr Mumbles’ career but may I request that your lead-in on his page now be updated to fine tune his current standing on the Cogerson site. Your existing excellent wording could be tweaked to read as follows-

“Marlon Brando (1924-2004) owned the 1950s as an actor. He received 5 Oscar® nominations for Best Actor between 1952 and 1958. He had it all…. blockbusters, critical acclaim, and an Oscar® win His movies generated over 200 million ticket sales in the 1950s. Unfortunately the 1960s were not so kind to him. One could argue, that every movie he made in the 1960s was a box office failure. By the early 1970s he was considered box office poison. It was during this time that movie magic would happen again. That of course, was his role in The Godfather. Unfortunately though by the turn of the century it was partially back to porridge for him as one or two movie sites did not recogise his crucial reprisal of his 1978 Jor El role in 2006’s Superman Returns even though that created a great buzz and blew minds among the general public”.

    1. Hey Bob….glad our site got you to realize that Brando, Day and WoC share the same birthday. Day is 96 and going strong…hoping she joins de Havilland and Douglas in the Living Legends Over 100 Club. I passed your birthday wishes to WoC….she had a good day. I will consider your addition to my Brando page. Good stuff as always.
