  1. Maybe I am not so smart but I never connected that he and Jeff were brothers. For some reason I thought they spelled their last names differently. Live and learn.

    1. Hey Jeremy….I think you are way smart enough. I am betting I am much older than you…..but growing up Lloyd Bridges (their dad) was well known as well as his two acting sons. Lloyd passed away 24 years ago, so not thinking many people under 30 have any idea who Lloyd and his two sons are. Today, Jeff Bridges is way more known than Beau. They made a movie were they played brothers…but that movie is already 30 plus years old. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  2. I have seen 40 of Beau’s films listed above; the highest ranked I haven’t seen is From Up on Poppy Hill.

Beau Bridges is # 267 on the 2021 Oracle of Bacon list. Beau is the # 311 most connected actor of the 1970s, and # 430 of the 2000s. These are the actors on the 2021 list he has appeared with.

    1. Hey Dan….my tally on Beau Bridges is much smaller than I would have guessed…as I am coming in at 20….only half of your 40. Not surprised he ranks so high on the Oracle lists. He has been a busy actor almost his entire life. Most frequent Oracle co-star goes to his dad, Lloyd and Howard Hesseman with 3 movies. Little brother Jeff is not too far behind with 2 movies. 30 Oscar winning co-stars seems to be lower than I would have guessed…but there are some legends on that list. Hard to believe he is over 80.

FYI – The most recent Beau movie I saw was One Night In Miami. His scene in that movie is pretty chilling….he is at his house talking with Jim Brown (I think it was the Brown character)…the entire conversation is about how good Brown is and how much Beau likes him. While talking somebody inside the house needs some help….Brown offers to help…and then Beau drops a racial slur on Brown….that makes you completely see Beau’s character so differently.
