Hey Steve. Your favorite memes would make my Top 3. I would also include the Star Trek door handle one. Though I admit….pretty sure that one is from the show versus one of the movies….but it could be from the movie. Good stuff.
HI BRUCE
Good idea this Meams page as we all need something to cheer us up at the moment.
[I was going to suggest you print some of Joel’s opinions but this page is just as funny].
Meams are not the sort thing I’m good at concocting myself but I enjoy reading other people’s and I most enjoyed the one from The Shining.
There was a lot of toilet roll humor in Al Leach’s Operation Petticoat and I am surprised that you as a keen student of the Great Archibald haven’t been able to make someting of some of the comments in that!
Hey Bob….thanks for checking out this drastically different type of UMR page. After putting it together…a thought occurred to me…..not enough classic movie memes out there. That makes me want to figure out how to do a meme. Ah….getting in another Joel jab. I am actually efforting to interview Joel’s wife…..so far all attempts at reaching her have failed…but I am not done trying…..apparently the “female Indiana Jones” (her nickname amongst friends) is difficult to reach. I will have to look into that Operation Petticoat thinking. Glad to see you are still doing well. Hopefully things are starting to get better.
HI BRUCE: Thanks for the feedback and for again expressing your good wishes for my wellbeing. At the moment I am safe and want for nothing material so that my main concern is to keep myself occupied during the confinement.
We are allowed to go for a walk [once a day] provided we observe “social distancing” from other pedestrians and the walks help me keep my spirits up; and of course the pages and videos that you and Steve respectively keep providing contribute towards my being able to spend my days productively.
Today’s generations are fortunate in having the internet and many other forms of home entertainment at their disposal. When I was growing up in the post 1939-45 war years we didn’t even have TV sets until I was around 13 years of age so all we had was the radio to listen to for our indoor amusement.
The radio of course played havoc with the imagination as you could never see the performers. I remember for example one leading man actor who was able to trade on an Al Leach type persona in popular drawing room comedies as he had the kind of suave sophisticated type of voice that Awesome Archie had so that I always imaged him to be handsome and debonair as Archibald was. I was therefore shocked when I ultimately saw a photo of him and he resembled Bela Lugosi and was just as sinister looking.
So you have been trying to track down W o Joel. You’re an ambitious persistent beggar when it come to maintaining your site aren’t you? If you do get to interview her try to remember to ask her what SHE thinks of The Duke and The Great Mumbler. She may have a different view from that of her husband [they say that madness unlike the virus isn’t contagious]. Anyway give my best wishes to your household and keep safe yourself.
Hey Bob….glad you can still get a “social distancing” walk in. They are telling us to not even go out and buy groceries for the next two weeks. Thanks for sharing the radio memory. Woody Allen’s Radio Days covers the same memories that you talk about in your comment. Trying….is a great word…so far….striking out….but I do not give up too easily. If I do get the chance…I will keep your questions in mind. Good stuff.
Nice collection. I like the John Wick one the best. Followed by The Shining. I saw another one with Lord of the Rings and toilet paper. I will see if I can find it.
My favorite would have to be… The Shining meme.
I like the smile on Jack Nicholson’s face.
Angry John Wick was good too.

https://imgflip.com/i/3t9v09 There are a few, but this is the one I like the most.
Thanks Taylor…your meme is on the page.
Hey Taylor…most fun I have putting together a page in awhile….granted…the meme subject is very depressing. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.
Fun!
Thank you Katelyn….I just had to put Harry first. If only we could get rid of this virus with a Potter spell. Stay safe and healthy.
Would gladly include more movie memes…send a link and I will include it.
