  1. “What’s in the box!” Bruce, I’m surprised I haven’t commented before on your Brad Pitt page considering I’ve seen 35 of the 39 films you’ve listed.

I like Pitt and I like his wife even more, have you done a page on Jolie? Good to see Seven at the top of the moviescore, one of my favorites, excellent film. He was good in Twelve Monkeys too though his role was more of a red herring.

Snatch is quite popular here in the UK. And I must have watched Mr and Mrs Smith at least a dozen times, a fun action film and Jolie is gorgeous in it.

Don’t get mad but I still haven’t seen Moneyball. I will eventually.

Excellent job as usual Bruce, and packed with facts and stats. Voted Up. 🙂

    1. He Steve. Yes Ms. Jolie already has her very own Cogerson Movie Score page. My Pitt tally count is 37….with Fury and Johnny Suede being my missing Pitt movies. I find that strange because I do not feel I am a Pitt fan…..but then again almost all of his movies are “event movies”.

Moneyball is pretty entertaining. But seeing it is based on an American game…I can see why you have not seen it yet. I like Snatch…..but I think Lock and Stock is the better Guy Ritchie movie.

As always thanks for your comment.

    1. Hey fight club jacket….Mr. Pitt has gotten better with age in my mind….when he was younger I avoided his movies….now I look forward to them….I had the same issue with Leonardo DiCaprio…thanks for stopping by.

  2. I liked troy. The basic theme was that people in positions of power, kings, princes, generals, do want they want with no regard for the people under them who will suffer and die because of their actions.

I would have like twelve monkeys better if the bruce willis charactor was introduced in the nut house at the begining. Since you saw him in the future it ruined the mystery of was he telling the truth or was he insane.

Legends of the Fall seemed like a made for T.V. epic. One of those shows like shogun or captains and the kings. I kept expecting Jane Seymour or Richard Chamberlain to make an appearance. It is one of my favorite pitt movies but I noticed every nice person died.

Personally I enjoyed Fight Club. I also liked Inglorious Basterds. While watching the movie within the movie with the German sniper killing american soldiers I realized We, i.e. americans, make movies showing our war heroes killing german or japanese soldiers. I wonder how those movies are recieved in germany?

    1. Hey ruffridyer…interesting take on Troy and Twelve Monkeys…As for the beginning of Twelve Monkeys…the opening could be Bruce just being completely doped up and imaging the whole deserted city….the fact that 12 Monkeys has so many different angles…makes it a great movie….you can watch it going it is a science fiction movie…or you can watch as a study on a completely crazy mental patient.

Legends of the Fall….funny points…..I always thought it was like a shampoo commercial…for Brad and his very pretty hair.

I think the movies are one of the reason…the rest of world thinks that Americans are gun toting killing machines….since every one of our movie seems to have guns and killing…..thanks for the compliments…and as always thanks for the great comments.

  3. Thanks for writing this page. Pitt has a big presence in the film industry however the general public doesn’t attribute his success to talent. But you know the old saying “Can’t make it on looks alone.”

    1. Hey Frannie Dee…good points on Mr. Pitt….I think as Pitt gets older and starts to lose some of his drop dead looks…people will appreciate his talents….I think he has a great chance to win that first Oscar this year for Moneyball….thanks for the compliment and the comment.

  4. Brad Pitt…Poor guy took such a beating when he left Jen for Angie…I don’t get it. This goes on in Hollywood every hour of every day. Sure, it’s sad, but I just don’t understand why so hard on Brad? I like him and his movies….especially “Oceans…” Your hub has prompted me to go out and rent some of his best and see them again. Your movie pages are always awesome, Cogerson!

    1. Hey fpherj48….I think he took a beating because Aniston was the nice girl next door….while Jolie is the bad girl…it least how their image is at least….well I am glad my list has given you some suggestions for some Pitt movies….thanks for the compliment and for stopping by.
