Need to know which Bruce Willis movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place.

I have followed Bruce Willis’ career since he hit the big time with his star making role as David Addison on Moonlighting. I still think the Moonlighting 3 episode story arc with Mark Harmon, was some the best television I have ever seen and the pinnacle of that series.  Since Moonlighting, Bruce Willis has had a very busy career, making over 60 movies over the last 27 years. It has been a roller coaster ride…the highs….. movies like Pulp Fiction, most of the Die Hards, and The Sixth Sense…..the lows….movies like The Whole Ten Yards, Hudson Hawk, Bonfire of the Vanities and NorthHis IMDb page shows 145 acting credits since 1980.  In the table below, Ultimate Movie Rankings ranks movies in 6 different sortable columns.

  1. What a great review. So much useful information and hard work put in this page. You have my votes.

    1. Hey lyricwriter …this was actually the very first movie page I did….it looked nothing like the way it currently looks…I would imagine that it has has 5 or 6 complete remodels. So I am very glad to hear that you like all the facts and information in the hub. I appreciate your votes, you checking out the hub and for the comment.

  2. Yippee-ki-yay! This page is like an antidote to that Audrey Hepburn hub Conanson. 🙂

I used to watch Moonlighting back in the 80’s but not religiously you know? Never realising Bruce would be such an effective action hero, and a very popular one too.

Die Hard is an action classic, maybe the best one ever made, or tie with James Camerons T2.

Pulp Fiction remains my favourite Tarantino film, though I’ll always have a soft spot for Kill Bill.

Hey I even enjoyed Armageddon. Michael Bay’s over the top style suited the story. I remember reading how ticked off Willis was when Armageddon was shown at the Cannes film festival and all the critics laughed at his character’s final speech to his daughter, played by Liv Tyler.

I guessed the surprise ending to Sixth Sense after reading about what a shocker it was, it was easy to work out within the first few minutes. The problem with people telling you about a twist ending is that you spend the film trying to work out what it might be. I haven’t seen this in years, I have the DVD maybe its worth another look.

I remember enjoying Unbreakable, another film I haven’t seen in a while, Willis and Samuel L. Jackson both very good in this.

Bruce was excellent in Sin City too. I really think he’s an underrated actor.

I saw Willis in Red a few months ago and enjoyed it, but should have been better considering all the talent on show.

Looking forward to Die Hard 5 Die Hardest.

    1. Thanks for stopping by my oldest [age, Steve…lots of changes of over the last 7 months to this page. Let’s see I agree with you about Die Hard being one of the best action films ever….Die Hard, T2, and Predator would be hard to match.

Armaggedon is just a fun movie…the perfect popcorn movie….maybe I am too much of a Willis fan….but I like the talk from Bruce to Gracie at the end.

Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, and Unbreakable are all good movies….and two of them will be classics…Sixth Sense and Pulp Fiction….while…I know there has been talk of a Unbreakable 2…they better hurry as Willis is pushing 60 now.

And finally I agree…he is very underrated….maybe he will get some Oscar love as he gets older and finds a supporting role that the Oscar voters will like….I have seen all 51 movies on the list…I think the only actor that I have seen their entire career….thanks for the great comments.

    1. Hey DIY Backlinks….it is amazing how quickly time passes…pretty soon they will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Moonlighting…and the Die Hard movies are closing in on 25 years…it makes me feel so old.

  3. Bruce is one of my favorites, although he greatly underrated. He has a ton of movies being made, maybe one of them will get him some respect.

    1. Hey Ari, Bruce is one of my favorites as well. I think after 30 years, he is starting to get some respect….and you are correct he has about 8 movies on IMDB that he is making….I am looking forward to Looper…at least I think that is the name of the sci-fi movie he is making.

  4. “I see dead people” … I have a LOT of Willis favs but The Sixth Sense is my all time favorite! Also enjoyed when he played Jennifer Anistons boyfriend in “Friends”!! Way to go cogerson!!! U did Bruce justice with this page!!!

    1. Thanks for visiting my first ever movie page ….Sunshine…..Bruce exactly won an Emmy for his 3 episode part for Friends….thanks for commenting.
