Charles “Charlie” Chaplin, was an English comic actor and filmmaker who rose to fame in movie shorts from Mack Sennett’s Keystone Studios. Chaplin and his screen persona “the Tramp” became a worldwide icon. From his start in shorts, he turned his attention to full length movies. Between 1921 and 1940, Chaplin would star, write, produce, direct and compose the music for some of the greatest movies ever made!
His IMDb page shows 86 acting credits from 1914-1967. This page will rank 12 Charlie Chaplin full length movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, his many shorts and cameos were not included in the rankings.

Nice job
Thank you T34.
Hey S&S are here…..It is hard not to like The Little Tramp. I think clips of The Gold Rush are the ones shown the most….sorry you did not like Limelight…..but I agree there are parts that are pretty depressing…..but overall….I feel it is a very enjoyable movie to watch.
Hi, Bruce.
Silent comedy: I’m a fan of this genre for sure.
Most of the Charlie Chaplin films I have seen are his shorts. I have a collection of them. The full length films are hard to come by for me.
Between the two of them I have seen more of Keaton’s films. And their peer I’m working through his films as well: Harold Lloyd.
Of silent teams/groups, Laurel and Hardy are my favourite.
No, I do not beat your 10 total of full length. I’ve seen virtually all of his shorts. I’ve seen the top 6 only. Of the others I am most looking forward to seeing Limelight.
I had no idea that number 12 existed.
Of the remaining top 25 you have to do, I would think that Olivier would be easiest to find all the data you need to do your movie score.

Hey Flora….thanks for checking out my latest classic page. Well I might have seen the most of the full length movies….but I have not seen a single Chaplin short….Tally Count…me 10…you and Steve at 6. I recently watched about 5 Harold Lloyd movies…my first 5….I do not think I have seen but a couple Keaton movies.
As for #12….you have not been missing anything. Chaplin has a cameo as a bell boy….but other than that there is not much to get excited about with the movie. I agree with you about Olivier being the easiest of the remaining men. Keaton will probably be the hardest. As always thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Love the Little Tramp. The Kid and The Gold Rush are my favorites so I am glad to see you ranked them so high. Glad you liked Limelight, but I found that one way too depressing compared to his other movies.
