  1. I remember when I was in school and everybody was talking about the LethalWeapon movies. My parents would not let me see those movies because they said I was too young. I had to wait years to finally see those movies. I really like the second and third ones. Angels in the Outfield would be another favorite. Two fun pages that you have done recently.

    1. Hey Helakoski….good story about being young and unable to watch Lethal Weapon…..your parents sound mean….lol.

I loved Lethal Weapon 1 but it has not aged as well 2. Maybe Mel’s suicidial behaviors are not as intense when you realize he is alive and pretty happy in the later chapters.

    1. Hey Dan
      1. Thanks for the list of information on Danny Glover.
      2. Sorry it took so long to get your request done.
      3. 38 Oscar winners is a little less than average…but still a pretty impressive number.
      4. I actually have Complete Unknown sitting on my DVD player just waiting to be watched.
      5. 39th on Oracle is pretty impressive…. all of his low budget movies of the last 5 years are really helping him out there.
      6. Working directly with 6 out of the current Top 10 is pretty good.
      7. Actually surprised he has not worked with Robert…..seems they are working in the same type of movies and would have found themselves in the same movie.
      Thanks again ?

  3. a talented man who gives back. he works very hard off screen for many deserving causes. as for his movies like that his lethal weapon movies are so highly ranked. my favorite would be the almost unknown movie to sleep with anger.

    1. Hey A.J. you are right the man is heavily involved in lots of causes. He is a good example of how somebody can give back. I have not seen To Sleep With Anger but I will add it to my list of movies to watch.

  4. I like how you mentioned he was good in both hero and villain roles. He was fantastic in Lethal Weapon,Predator 2 and Saw. But he was even better in The Witness,Switchback and The Color Purple. In my mind he is even more believable as villain. This page was a nice discovery.

    1. Hey Justin….you make great points with some great examples in your comment. I think he is stellar in both types of roles. Thanks for the kind words about our website. Glad you discovered it.

  5. Always been impressed with his ability to go back and forth between good guy roles and bad guy roles. He will always be Roger Murtaugh to me. Love his cameo in Maverick. Too bad he and Gibson did not make more movies together.

    1. Hey SteinHOF…..good point about Glover’s ability to do both roles. He is great as Roger Murtaugh…but equally great in The Color Purple and Witness. I agree his cameo in Maverick is outstanding…..funny…..and memorable….everything you want in a cameo. Maybe one day Gibson and Glover will do another project together….but they need to hurry up….Glover is now 70 and Mel is closing in on 70 as well. Thanks for stopping by and talking Danny Glover.
