One of the first movie pages I wrote was a Marvel Movies vs DC Comics Movies page.  Well over the years I have been keeping that page updated as new Marvel/DC superhero movie gets released.  The other day I got a request to separate the two types of movies. So that is what I have done.  If you just want to see the Marvel Movies just follow this link…. Marvel Movies Ranked.  If you want to see the DC Comics Movies just scan down.

DC Movies Can Be Ranked 6 Ways In This Table

The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.

  • Sort DC Movies by the stars of the movies
  • Sort DC Movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost
  • Sort DC Movies by their yearly worldwide box office rank
  • Sort DC Movies how they were received by critics and audiences.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie
  • Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each DC movie received.
  • Sort DC Movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score.  UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.

  1. Christopher Reeve’s Lois Lane is dead. Margot Kidder died aged 69. Born in Canada, she became an american citizen in 2005. Miss Kidder suffered from a bipolar disorder, making her life a rollercoaster ride. She was married to John Heard (for 6 days if german news are right), had a nervous breakdown in 1996, was arrested in 2011 while protesting in front of the White House. May she have peace now.

    1. Hey Lupino….sad news indeed. I had such a crush on her from the late 1970s and early 1980s. She will always be the Lois Lane I think of when I think about that character. I was pleasantly surprised that she had stayed so busy the last 30 years…I would have thought her personal illnesses were keeping her from working…happy to see that she was very busy working. Rest in Peace Margot Kidder.
