  1. Hey Bob….screen Bond is almost 60 years…..I am thinking he has lots of tread left on those tires….after this one is released….the hunt for the next Bond will gather steam….and then…..another new Bond trailer will be ready for you….joy to the world!….lol.

    Good comments. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    1. “I thank whatever Gods may be
      That no man lives forever;
      That dead men rise up never;
      And even the weariest river
      Winds somewhere safe to sea.”

  2. Can’t wait for the new Bond movie, it looks great. Sadly it might be the last we see of Daniel Craig in the role. The next Bond actor will have a hard time topping Craig. Maybe they can go the other direction and make the new Bond a sophisticated smoothy like Roger Moore, more quips less punches. But audiences will be disappointed.

    1. Hey Steve….glad you liked the trailer….it looks promising….I really liked Craig’s 1st and 3rd Bond movies…not too impressed with his 2nd and 4th Bond movies….so based on this trend….I will probably really like No Time To Die. As for the next Bond….I suspect it is going in a different direction completely…..he will become Jane Bond….and Lashana Lynch will get that role. I will be curious if this prediction comes true….and even more curious about the box office reaction to it. Good stuff as always.

  3. Yet another one!

    I am tired of tears and laughter,
    And men that laugh and weep,
    Of what may came hereafter
    For men that sow to reap:
    I am weary of days and hours,
    Blown buds of barren flowers,
    Desires and dreams and powers
    And everything but sleep.

      1. HI KID!

        The Old Bull and the Young Bull had long been imprisoned in the paddock because the farmer had kept them under lock and key for ages. However one day the farmer was negligent and left the gate slightly open.

        Father and son were suddenly free and cantered far and wide in great exhilaration. Finally out-of-breath they stopped at the top of a hill. Young Bull looked down into the valley below and excitedly said to Old Bull “Oh look Pop. See what’s down there!”

        Old Bull looked and saw a herd of cows grazing below. Young Bull started to snort loudly and paw the grass with his hooves in a frenzy. “Let’s run down and make love to one Dad,” he said.

        Compliantly Old Bull started to make a quick move; but then paused and said “No, son. Let’s walk down and make love to THE LOT!”

        1. HI LENS

          I meant to say I like the cloud link so thanks for sharing it. However in a way I think you are subscribing to the stereotyped perception of the “angry old man”. For example political pollsters claim that the biggest single block of Brexit supporters and voters among the Brit population comes from the elderly community, who have gotten very angry about perceived mistreatment by the EU.

          Years ago the boot was on the other foot when John Osborne’s Jimmy Porter [played by the younger Burton on both stage and screen] ranted and raved about the injustices of the world in Osborne’s play Look Back in Anger. That stated a trend under which for a while almost every dramatic play had to have an Angry Young Man in it.

          I too am guilty of trying to start up “Angry 50-Somethings” by taunting the Work Horse about Hirsch, The Thin Woman and Dire Hard. I despair that at the time of writing WH hasn’t bitten and my new group has not even gotten one member! However I’ll keep trying; it’s the last straw that breaks the camel’s back. Meanwhile I should add that Old Cantankerous was always an Angry Young Man who simply progressed into an Angry Old Man.
