I have seen Now and Then 3 times. The 2nd time was in Mexico City in 1997 where it was shown in English with Spanish Subtitles.

You know out here in New York there was a big fire in Harlem where they were shooting a movie Bruce Willis is in, directed by Ed Norton. One fireman died and they broadcast his funeral mass and precession to St. Patrick\’s cathedral. Wonder if Ed or Bruce attended it or the wake or sent their sympathies. Norton is getting sued for 7 million by one of the tenants of the building.

    1. Hey Dan
      1. As always…thanks for the lists.
      2. Glad the Spam Busters did not stop it….sorry that you had to send the 1931 comment so many times.
      3. Wow…..she is moving up and not down….I find that really confusing…especially since her career now seems to be supporting roles in low budget movies that barely get released.
      4. Looking at the first list….looks like Bruce Willis, Taylor Negron (RIP) and Ellen Barkin are her most frequent co-stars.
      5. 23 Oscar winners is a good total….but not thinking it is going to increase many as her career fades away.
      6. I read that sad news about the fire on that movie….tragic news…..this is the first I am hearing about the lawsuit.
      Good feedback as always.

  2. Thank you very much for featuring the beautiful and underestimated Demi Moore. She has had her ups and downs, like we all have in life. However, it is overdue that she gets some well-deserved recognition for her film and work.
    Keep the good work!

    1. Hey Frank….glad you enjoyed our Demi Moore page. I agree she has had a lot of ups and downs….but her time at the top produced some serious box office hits. We have been thinking about doing an UMR page on her for awhile….glad we finally gave her that well-deserved recognition. Thanks for the kind words.

  3. HI MO

1 I have just sent you a conclusive 2-part response to your very welcome Randy video but again some Magician must have sidetracked it to practice his vanishing act. However I’ve done my bit and as the saying goes “when men have done their best the angels can do no more!”

2 I see that some unseen hand keeps removing my name from the Name Box at the foot of each Cogerson page and inserting first yours, then Flora’s and now yours again. I keep making the necessary corrections before submitting posts but I may have missed the odd page so I can just hope that some viewers are not sitting somewhere giving you credit for some of my fantastic comments. I mean you ARE brilliant in your own right but let’s not get carried away !!

    1. Bob, I’ve replied to your recent posts, cheers amigo. I’m not sure what you mean in the second paragraph, names appearing and disappearing? I see that my posts can be partially viewed in the forum page but have yet to appear on the Randolph Scott page.

      1. HI MO

1 What I mean by NAMES disappearing/interchanging is that as on the bottom of this page for example there are spaces for Name and E Mail address and normally in those spaces will in my case be NAME Bob Roy E MAIL ADDRESS My own.

2 I’ve already mentioned to Bruce that on Sunday some “unseen hand” kept removing my name and inserting yours but without an E mail address. The following couple of days Flora’s name AND an E Mail address that I took to be possibly hers suddenly kept appearing in those spaces. Today we’re back to instead of my own name”Steve Lensman” popping up out of seemingly nowhere in my NAME box but again without an E Mail address and the E Mail box being left empty.

3 Obviously you and Flora have nothing to do with this nonsense and I presumed that the Spammers had found some way of substituting names and/or E Mail addresses beyond our immediate control If that is so I don’t have the site management skills that you WH and W o C have with which to fight the Spammers and all I can do is keep removing the false information and reinserting my own details.

4 Hope this explains matters but I’m afraid that now that Ladd and Wayne are no longer available I can’t guarantee that the Russians can be kept under control during the World Cup. Indeed if those two Van Helsing type Commie hunters are ANYWHERE today it’s most likely China. Just as sightings of Elvis are frequently reported there are those Western tourists who think the may have spotted Laddie and The Duke casing Tiananmen Square. “Reds look out Ladd’s about!” as the posters used to say.

        1. Hopefully the new Spam Busters is fixing this issue…..the big concern we have is the e-mail address showing up…..if it is just listing the name of the last commentor….I can handle that.

      2. So far today….only one real comment got stuck in the “approval” area…..and it was yours, Steve…..the one that said a “type in a word” box showed up…..not sure where that is coming from….we download Spam Buster….but are having a hard time seeing what it is doing and how it is doing. One day this mess will be fixed.

  4. HI BRUCE
1 You and I have discussed Demi so often before, albeit usually obliquely within the Willis context, that we probably have very little new to say to each other about her. However whilst as you know I’m not keen on her professionally but admire her Other Half – I always thought she was overrated and he was underrated – I like to be known as Mr Impartiality and think that as probably the most successful member of the Brat Pack she still has had a high profile enough career to deserve her own page on this site along with her Ex, so naturally I welcome it’s arrival

2 Apart from having the usual academic interest in her stats I was curious to see if YOU would be impartial in write-ups that accompany your table and have to concede that you have remained professional and have not used for example Possibly Interesting Facts to take sides in the Willis-Moore split-up which is of course a private matter. [However I don’t see her uncredited cameo in the 1982 Young Doctors in Love mentioned and after the Split shockerI couldn’t help wondering if Mr Moore would have benefited from such a cameo had he been involved!]

3 What WAS new to me is your revelation that Demi is a Hayworth fan and that she supports Arsenal football club. I don’t know if Steve follows football and if so what his preferences are but he might have at least a passing interest in Demi’s unusual attraction to an English soccer club. Whatever the case this new page merits a vigorous Lensman Vote Up from YOURS TRULY.

    1. Hey Bob
      1. Thanks for the visit and the comment.
      2. Yep….after all of the Moore talk….she finally made it to the top of the UMR new page pile….she has been near the top for awhile…..just the “claw” never picked her…lol.
      3. I agree of the Brat Packers she has had the most successful career……though I think Sean Penn has a better career….his inclusion in that group was only in the article that introduced the brat pack…and has never been mentioned by the general public.
      4. Bruce only briefly made it into the page….their marriage is as you say “their business”…I have no comments on it….other than to say….I was sadden their marriage like so many other marriages did not work.
      5. As for Young Doctors in Love…her role was unbilled….not due to being a cameo….but mainly because she was an extra in the movie.
      6. As many movies that we have given Bruce credit for….we have never given him credit for The First Deadly Sin with Frank Sinatra or The Verdict with Paul Newman….which was when he was an extra at the start of his career.
      7. Glad you liked the trivia…..many of her trivia….were pretty negative…..so I had to keep searching for nice happy facts.
Thanks for the feedback and visit.

      1. HI BRUCE

1 Thanks for your useful comments on the other Bruce’s better half. I have just sent myself to the back of the class with a Dunce’s hat as I never before picked up that Penn was even a tenuous a brat packer and I would agree with you that artistically speaking he had a much stronger career [and I’m sure he was never broke either!] Thanks for that info.

3 By all accounts Bruce and Demi still got on quite well after divorce as I read that he continued to be her “soul mate” regarding giving her career advice. That’s good to hear if true and in fact my brother now in a 2nd marriage still helps out his ex financially and even wallpapers her house for her now and again!

3 That’s a far cry from one divorce that I read about in the States [where else!?] where because the husband grew a hedge during the marriage the courts ruled that he had to go round every Summer and cut it for the wife who kept their marriage house. He finally snapped when his ex and her new boyfriend lay beside the pool drinking and enjoying themselves whilst he the ex hubby sweltered away with the hedge -cutting!.

        1. Hey Bob…..I think one could argue that Moore outshined Penn at the box office…..and for general film fans Moore might be more famous than Penn. Yesterday morning I was listening to some co-workers talking about actors that they did not like….one mentioned Penn….while the other said Tommy Lee Jones. I agree the Bruce/Demi divorce was one of the nicest Hollywood ones that I have heard about. Funny story about the hedges…thanks for sharing.

    2. Bob, interesting that Demi is an Arsenal fan. I’m not much into football or sport but when I was young I was a Manchester United fan and I guess I still am. And living in Manchester I’m surrounded by football nuts.

p.s. I will be watching the World Cup (sporadically). I hope the Russians behave themselves. 🙂

      1. Hey Steve….secretly you are an American football fan. I know going to London to see the three or four NFL games is the highlight of your year…..lol.

  5. Naughty Demi gets her movie page, wasn’t she married to someone famous at one time? The name escapes me… oh there it is in the trivia box – John McClane. 🙂

I’ve seen 16 of the 29 films on the chart. Favorites are – Ghost, Hunchback of Notre Dame (her best role), A Few Good Men and… that’s about it, hmm not my favorite filmography I have to confess. I wonder if Meg Ryan fares better, have you done one on Meg, Bruce? [cue Bruce growling]

Bruce there’s a film called Margin Call topping A Few Good Men, was this a misprint? Even the usually generous IMDB gave it just 7.1 out of 10 and Demi is barely in it. [cue more growling]

Ghost was huge, a billion dollars adjusted worldwide!

Nice work as always chief. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve.
      1. Thanks for the visit, tally and count on the latest UMR page.
      2. Yep…..Moore was Mrs. John McClane for almost a decade….but like so many other Hollywood Power Couples….they eventually went different ways.
      3. Of course we have a Meg Ryan page…..I remember you comment about the Ryan/Tom Hanks trilogy were 3 of your all-time favorite movies. #5 was Joe vs The Volcano, #4 Mona Lisa Smile with another of your favorites Julia Roberts, #3 You’ve Got Mail, #2 Ben-Hur and #1 Sleepless in Seattle….lol.
      4. Margin Call is an excellent and very memorable role….Moore has one of the bigger parts…..but it is an ensemble cast…so nobody has a really massive role. Kevin Spacey (who has become the name we do not say) is awesome in this movie. That is of course not condoning the behavior of Mr. Spacey.
      5. So you have seen 16 of her movies…..I almost double your total as I am at 29 Demi Moore movies seen.
      6. Ghost was indeed huge….and even bigger overseas….a movie that holds up well.
      Good stuff.
