  1. I like Dennis Quaid, interesting question about who is the best actor without an nomination. I would include Jim Carrey from his serious movies, or Martin Sheen. As for Quaid, I remember watching Caveman with Ringo Starr all the time on cable back in the 1980s, so stupid it was funny. I see it is ranked 40th kinda low, but I can understand that.

    1. hey hinton1966….good choices on Jim Carrey and Martin Sheen….I think Carrey should have been nominated for either The Truman Show or Eternal Sunshine of External Mind…or whatever it was called…..as for Sheen…how did his performance in Apocalypse Now get ignored….funny you mention watching Caveman on cable….I was right there with you….it got some serious turns on HBO back then…thanks for the comments.

  2. I really enjoyed Vantage Point and Frequency; and pretty much every other movie I’ve seen starring DQ. Innerspace was a long time back, but I remember laughing loud. Ahh, reminiscing. Thanks for the memories 😉

    1. Hey parrster…..I agree with you about Innerspace, I remember thinking how great I thought that movie was….so far it is the only Martin Short movie I have ever liked. The only part I did not like about Vantage Point was the traitor at the end of the movie….I could see that a mile away…..thanks for checking out my Quaid page.

  3. Dennis Quaid is a good actor. I enjoy watching Frequency, The Big Easy and Suspect when they appear on TV and these are some of my favorite movies of his. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY COGERSON… YOU HAVE A VERY INTERESTING MOVIE PAGE…IT IS SO INFORMATIVE… –

    1. Thanks for the compliment BERN1960, Frequency is getting lots of attention on the hub…it finished in his top 10 of movies…..I hope you enjoy your 4th of July as well

  4. Yay baby!! A pulse!! I haven’t seen a DQ movie yet that I didn’t enjoy! Frequency still has me a bit baffled but I still watch it over and over hoping that one day it finally clicks…that’s just me. 🙂

Thank you cogerson for a movie page well done!! UP/fan-freakin-tastic!!!

    1. Hey Sunshine625…..I thought you would appreciate a hub about a person that still has a pulse….Frequency is a somewhat confusing movie….but Quaid is very good in the movie. I appreciate you stopping by and checking out my movie page.

  5. I like Dennis Quaid. He reminds me of Harrison Ford. His brother Randy is quite good too. Though usally typecast playing idiotic charactors like Cousin Eddie in the Vacation movies.

It doesn’t seem like Dennis gets the respect he deserves. I consider him a good actor, not a great actor but good.

    1. hey ruffridyer….I can see the comparison between Quaid and Ford…..Quaid is the type of actor nobody really thinks about….but when you see on screen, you generally feel he will give a good performance….his brother appears to have completely lost it….hiding out in Canada because he thinks someone is going to kill him….but I did see he has another movie coming out soon.
