How did Bob find this page? I don’t see any links to it.
Dom’s dad was in a Harry Potter film too.
I’ve seen 14 of the 29 films on the chart, more than I thought. Favorites are – Star Wars 7-8-9, Harry Potter 7-8, Ex-Machina, Dredd, Peter Rabbit, True Grit and The Revenant.
I enjoyed Peter Rabbit recently on cable.
Mother! was interesting at first and ultimately ridiculous, not something I’ll watch again in a hurry. I’m sure it has a cult following. Not sure I’d want to be friends with anyone in that cult though. 😉
Good work Bruce. Vote Up!
STEVE:
The answer is quite simple. I am such a fan of WH that I stalk him and all his doings. He’ll ultimately need a restraining order against me in the way one had to be served in the sitcom Frasier against the latter’s co-worker Noel, a Star Trek fanatic who hounded his own great Idol Willim Shatner!
Hey Steve….Domhnall was hanging out on the New Page page….I was trying to hide him in plain site…..it did not work….Bob….has an eagle eye…..lol. His dad will be getting a page in the near future….as I like Brendan Gleeson as well. 14 is an outstanding tally….but double digits behind me….as it turned out I am almost a Domhnall completist. Seen all of your favorites….he was short changed in Star Wars 9. Interesting thoughts on Mother!….it could become a cult classic….but I did not enjoy that one at all. Thanks for the tally, comment and visit….all are greatly appreciated. And now I go to school.
It’s good to see WH give an Irish actor a go in a new page though unfortunately I’ve seen none of Domhnall’s movies. However as the saying goes “we live and learn” and I find that on top of is film career he has-
1/ featured in 11 TV productions between 2001 and 2019;
2/trod the boards in 4 stage plays in the 2001 – 2015 period including acting Herbert Pocket in the Dickens classic Great Expectations;
3/appeared in a video game in 2016;
4/been used in two Theme Park Attractions playing a Harry Potter character [2014] and a Star Wars character [last year].
All that has apparently earned him a net worth of $7 million to date; and IMDB credits him with 5 acting awards and 11 nominations.
This new page is voted up because Domhnall is a fellow countryman of mine and Cogerson once more has provided me with a learning curve.
Hey Bob…I figured you would enjoy an UMR page on a fellow Irishman. I think his dad will be joining him soon. I have actually seen 25 of the 28 movies. I am almost a Domhnall completist….and did not even know it. I have enjoyed his performances…as well as his dad’s performances in movies. Glad we are helping with your learning curve. I would recommend About Time (I think you would really enjoy it), Brooklyn (surprised you have not seen it) The Revenant (Leo’s Oscar winning role) and American Made (a Tom Cruise movie I really enjoyed). Good stuff as always.
HI BRUCE:
Thanks for the feedback and recommendations.
25 “have seens” for a relatively new actor – wow!The likes of The Duke and my Jimmy made so many films that the joke was that they lived on the set permanently and kept their horses with them! W o C can count herself lucky you only WATCH movies and don’t make them or she’d never see you!
