Hello Bruce,
Elsa Lanchester, one of the most great britannic actress with the two Margareth, the two Diana, Dame May Whitty, Glenda, Judy and Maggie but anyway i don’t remember her in Mary Poppins and the Razor Hedge but i will neve forget her in The Darn Cat and Blackbeard, she was wonderful, crazy with so much talent and so funny;
In Witness, she cant challenge with Dietrich but she is in the mean time unique with Charles Laughton in that film, there is a so complicity between them, ….of course!
Glad to see a page for her
By the way, the holidays are gone return to home and i do my comment with a very good glass of white wine!
A bientot
Pierre
Hey Pierre….thanks for checking out our Elsa page. Sounds like you had a very relaxing holiday. White wine and UMR….love it! Good points on Witness For The Prosecution. She had a very small part in Mary Poppins….but it is a fun part. I agree her interactions with her real husband, Charles Laughton, are fun to watch. Good stuff.
I saw 10. one favorite mary poppins. 3 in my top 500 mary poppins, razors edge, witness for the prosecution.
Hey bob cox…..sorry it took so long to respond. I guess I fell asleep on the Elsa comment wheel. Your 10 is right behind my 11. Mary Poppins is beloved in my house for sure….WoC likes to watch the Julie Andrews blockbusters on a regular basis…The Sound of Music gets watched more….but Mary is a close second. Witness For The Prosecution is an awesome movie! Great feedback as always.
