  1. Bruce, another missing film from the chart is The Vanishing Virginian. I haven’t seen it but I noticed the poster on my video which you have kindly shared on the page and Frank Morgan is the lead actor too. You do have it listed somewhere because I see a UMR rating of 5.4 in my files. Plus you’re from Virginia, how can you not list it? 😉

  2. I have seen 31 Frank Morgan movies on the table plus Boom Town which is missing for a total of 32 movies. I see you already know about the second paragraph.

The HIGHEST rated movie I have seen is The Wizard of Oz.

The highest rated movie I have NOT seen is Green Dolphin Street.

The LOWEST rated movie I have seen is Trouble For Two.

    1. Hey Flora….thanks for the thoughts on Frank Morgan. Tally coun: Flora 32, Steve 8 and me at 4. Boom Town is on the table now….but it is still not in the right ranking order….I am getting so tired of that little glitch. All four of the ones I have seen are on your favorites list. I would not have guessed your tally would have been 8 times my tally. Pretty amazed I have seen so few of his movies. As for your favorites….that is a lot of movies on your list….one of your longer favorites lists. Good stuff as always.

  3. Frank Morgan, a familiar face in classic Hollywood.
I think his most famous role has to be as The Great and Powerful Oz!

Bruce, missing from the chart is one of his best movies – Boom Town, starring Gable, Tracy, Colbert and Hedy ‘Delilah’ Lamarr.

Including Boom Town I’ve seen 8 altogether. Favorites are – The Wizard of Oz, The Three Musketeers, Boom Town, Honky Tonk and Broadway Melody of 1940.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz tops all charts except Box Office. I must have seen The Shop Around the Corner, but can’t remember for sure.

Good work Bruce. Vote Up! And thanks for the video share!

    1. Hey Steve.
      1. Thanks for the visit and the comment.
      2. Tally count….8 for you and 4 for me.
      3. As for Boom Town…not sure why it is not showing up on the table….like my Eddie Albert error I will have to fix that when I get home.
      4. I am shocked my tally count is low…..seems The Wizard Of Oz is playing tricks on my mind….as I have seen that one so many times…..it has me thinking I have seen Morgan in many many movies….when in fact it is a very low 4 movies seen.
      5. Boom Town was one of the biggest hits in that era…it easily took down Oz….though Oz caught up with it to a certain degree.
      Good stuff as always.

    1. Hey Dan….whoops….thanks for the headsup….I will fix that as soon as I get home. Can’t blame that on a copy and paste error…..that was me forgetting to do that part. Thanks again.
