  2. For me, the films of Garry Marshall are such a welcome respite from the real pain in life. Perhaps if my work wasn’t as it is, I might wish to see or experience something painful or dark in a film. But I don’t see anything wrong with enjoying something that is sweet and kind. And funny. And he always touches on the human spirit. His films are one of the best pleasures of my life.

    1. Hey Deanna….glad to see one of his fans show up and comment…..there are so pretty nasty comments about his movies out there….glad that had not reached this page yet. I enjoyed reading your comment.

    1. Hey Eric…..maybe she has the edge….but without big brother’s help, not thinking she would have been such a successful director. I also enjoyed the two Hanks/Penny movies…..thanks for stopping by.

  4. Wow this one is slow out of the gate. I have seen 17 of these movies. They are pretty popular in my house….Garry’s Princess Diaries movies get lots of spins at my house. The wife loves Pretty Woman….and I have also thought Nothing In Common was Hanks’ first great performance.
