    1. Hey WifeOfCogerson….sad news to make up to. I am impressed that he had a movie in theaters just a couple of months ago. RIP Mr. Marshall.

  1. Hey, I have made reference to my Greer G. total, but will have to wait until later to talk about it in detail.

    I have seen:

8 of these film,s so far.

    Not a big total.

    1. Hey Flora…poor Garry and Penny….our tally counts are back to the days of only you, me and Steve. Me 17, Steve 13 and you 8. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  2. Have to confess I’m not Big on the Marshalls collection of family fluff, the first one I’ve seen from the list is Young Doctors in Love, a goofy comedy which I remember liking but haven’t watched it in a long time.

Tom Hanks Big was fun and a Big hit in it’s time, for some reason I preferred other Hanks comedies of that period like Dragnet, Joe vs The Volcano and The Money Pit. But my favorite Hanks comedy is The Burbs, it’s the only one I still watch regularly and I have it on blu-ray.

I’ve seen 13 of the 25 films listed, more than half. Favorites include Big, Pretty Woman and er that’s about it, okay I’ll add Young Doctors in Love for nostalgia but the rest you can bin. [cue shocked faces]

A League of Their Own above Pretty Woman on the UMR chart Bruce? Maybe in an alternate universe where Hanks rules all but I’m pretty sure in this universe Pretty Woman was a huge worldwide hit, the critics liked it and it got an Oscar nom too.

Hmm I haven’t seen The Princess Diaries… but wait come back! I did see Bridget Jones’s Diary if that gets me any points. No? Okay. 🙂

Another luverly movie page Bruce. A Big Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve.
      1. Thanks for checking out our latest…sorry they are amongst your favorites.
      2. Both Pretty Woman and League of Their Own were hits…..but Pretty Woman
was not like by critics at all….so it got hurt in the rankings.
      3. Tally count…me 17….you 13…..sniff sniff….nobody wants to play tally count on the Marshall siblings movies.
      4. I love the Burbs’ too…..and yes you get bonus points For seeing Bridget’s Diary.
As always thanks for the comment

  3. I’ll have to give my total tomorrow…meanwhile my favourite Penny Marshall movie is A League of their Own and the song by Madonna is one of my Madonna favourites.

  4. Not a huge fan of his movies but I do give him credit for his success at the box office. His last three have been Day movies. I can’t wait for Arbor Day movie. I would agree with Eric seems his little sister has had better success when directing.

    1. He Stein funny comment about Arbor Day. His last three movies have been Day movies….makes you wonder which holiday he is trying to get green lite now…lol.
