Sam McDaniel (Hattie’s brother) and Emmet Vogan appeared with him 11 times.
Joseph Crehan and John Ridgely were in 10 films with him.
Hey Dan. It looks like George Brent was well aware of the regulars Warner Brothers supporting and but players. 13 actors that appeared in double digit movies with him. Good stuff.
i saw 6 including top 4. 10s not favorites jezebel, dark victory. 9 and favorite the rains came(i am a pawn in Myrna loy’s hands) which was Brent’s box office leader doubling jezebel and garnering 6 oscar nomination , one more than jezebel. hidden gem baby face a 7 but with George #2 billing above john wayne #8 who had already appeared in 40 movies( per letterboxd but only 5 per UMR), and he appeared in 44 more (per letterboxd 6 per UMR) before stagecoach.
Cogerson, Wayne might be an excellent candidate for a supplemental review only chart.
i am impressed with George Brent having 18 movies pass the $100,000,000 adj dom B.O. and a large number getting reviews above 55%, 59 out of 70(45 out of 70 over 60% review) .
Hey bob cox. Thanks for the feedback on our George Brent page. Your 6 tops my total, but far far behind Flora’s total. Love seeing Myrna Loy getting some attention. Baby Face is an interesting movie…..Wayne is only in the movie for about 10 minutes. Sadly, we have never been able to find much from Wayne’s B western days…but it is not for lack of trying…we even bought a few books on Republic Studioes….but they offered up little information either. Good breakdown on his stats….18 $100 million is indeed impressive. Good stuff.
