Want to know the best Goldie Hawn movies?  How about the worst Goldie Hawn movies?  Curious about Goldie Hawn box office grosses or which Goldie Hawn movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Goldie Hawn movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.

When I was growing up Goldie Hawn (1945-) was one of the most popular actresses working.  In 1972 and 1981 she made the list of Top Ten Box Office Stars.  Hawn’s movies have grossed over $2 billion in adjusted domestic box office.  I have very fond memories of seeing Foul Play (1978) in theaters.  The theater was packed…the movie provided loud roars of laughter and had enough suspense to keep the audience on the edge of their sits.  It was truly a great movie experience!   We feel it was finally time to give her some Ultimate Movie Rankings love…..plus she was on our Request HotLine.

Her IMDb page shows 35 acting credits since 1967. This page will rank Goldie Hawn movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in North American theaters were not included in the rankings.  To do well in our rankings a movie has to do well at the box office, get good reviews by critics, be liked by audiences and get some award recognition.

  1. Hi, Bruce.

I have always enjoyed Goldie Hawn. I’ve seen her on Laugh In and she started her career early enough that she worked with a lot of my favourites. I just feel good when I see her smiling on the screen. Therefore, I I have seen some rather recent titles of hers and my total of her movies is bigger than you might suspect.

The highest ranked Hawn movie I’ve seen is Number 1: The Sugarland Express. It is also the title I have seen for the first time the most recently. I saw it last year when it was one of titles of last season’s TCM essentials.

The lowest ranked movie I have seen is Bird on a Wire at 22.

The most recently made movie I have seen is The Banger Sisters from 2002 at 17. That reminds me that I think I’ve seen enough Susan Sarandon films to comment on your page on her.

The highest ranked movie I have not seen is one of her movies with Russell: The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band at Number 10.

Rankings of Movies I have seen:

I have seen 9 of the top 10
I have seen 13 of the top 20
I have seen 14 movies overall.

My favourite 5 movies of Goldie Hawn are:

    Cactus Flower
    Private Benjamin
    Overboard
    Everyone Says I Love You
    The Sugarland Express

Among to be seen titles I ammost interested in seeing There’s A Girl in My Soup with Peter Sellers.

    Cheers,

    Flora

    1. Hey Flora.
      1. Good to see your comment. I was not sure we would be hearing from you on this current performer.
      2. Goldie has a very Infectious smiles and one that can easily brighten your day.
      3. I look forward to your Sarandon comment.
      4. I think her role in The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band (that is a long movie title) is pretty brief….her role does not even have a name….she is listed as Giggling Girl….but the fact that she and Russell were in the movie made it a must include movie in the rankings.
      5. I have seen 18 of her movies….that is much closer than I thought it would be….18 to 14. Protocol is sitting on my DVD shelf….the wife likes that movie but I have not seen it yet.
      6. I like your Top 5….just re-watched Private Benjamin a few months ago….it did not seem as funny as the first time I saw it. My Top 5 would be Cactus Flower, Overboard, Sugarland Express and both Chase movies….Foul Play and Seems Like Old Times.
      7. Did you know that Cactus Flower was remade recently? And it starred Adam Sandler? Sandler has the Matthau role…..Jennifer Aniston has the Ingrid Bergman…while a swimsuit model has the Hawn role. It was called Just Go With It.
      8. I am right there with you about There’s A Girl In My Soup…..as I want to see that one as well.
As always thanks for the comment.

    1. Hey Anonymous….it might only be 28 movies….but they are a good 28 movies. Sadly I think we might have seen the last new Goldie movie ever….now that is sad.
