  1. Hello,
I saw 7 or 8 films with Miss Bisset, i did not see the Deep so for me the great tee shirt stay for Bo Derek in Ten two years later.
But my first see of JAcqueline BIsset is a French FIlm by Francois Truffaut which is call
    La Nuit Américaine.
It is a film about the making of a film and la nuit américaine in french signify a dark moment in a film even if it is the day with a great sunshine.
Jacqueline BIsset play a movie American star in that film , who came in France to make that film and one of her partner was Francois Truffaut himself and Jean Pierre leaud.
And if my memory is good Nathalie Bay, a great french actress play a little part in that film too.
I think in English it is Day for Night, another French film was le Magnifique with Belmondo.
    Have a good day
    Pierre

    1. Hey Pierre….good to hear from you. The Bisset movie with Truffaut was indeed called Day For Night here in the United States. It is our 2nd highest rated movie when looking the critical rating column…only trailing Bullitt. I have watched the trailer for le Magnifique…it looks like it might be a fun movie to watch. So you were able to avoid Bisset and the wet t-shirt in The Deep. Bo Derek in 10 and Bisset in The Deep are two vivid memories in my mind. Not too bad for memories that are now 40 years old….lol. Good stuff. Hope things are going well for you.

    1. Hey Dan…..very surprised that Bisset is that highly ranked on the Oracle list. Granted…she has been making movies for 6 decades….and even today she is cranking out movies left and right….5 in 2018 alone……but still surprising.

First list…..lots of legends…but with Michael Caine missing……is her career complete yet?….lol. Lots of three timers on the list….but I did not notice any 4-timers. Favorites of those would easily be Albert Finney. I have never seen Under the Volcano….but I want to.

Second list….32 Oscar winners……and they are all spread out….though When Time Ran Out and Murder on the Orient Express certainly helped out her tally. As always….interesting information….and a big “Thank You” for sharing this trivia.

  3. I saw 9 , including 7 of top 8. no 10s, no favorites, no hidden gems. one nine: murder on the orient express but only because of Flora’s Widmark and bergman and bacall and connery and hiller. also I dropped out of high school in 1974 the year it was released.

    1. Hey bob cox….9 is a popular tally number. That ties you, Steve and Flora….which is of course good company to be in. No favorites…not even The Deep? I just recently re-watched Murder on the Orient Express…..still a good fun movie to watch. High school in 1974?…..that means you are slightly older than me…..as I started high school in 1981. Good stuff.

  4. ooh doesn’t Bisset look lovely on my video cover? Thanks for the share btw.

I’ve seen just 9 of the 50 films on the chart, favorites are – Airport, Bullitt, The Deep and Murder on the Orient Express (starring the late great Albert Finney).

Nice to see Bullitt topping the critics chart, I saw that on a double bill with another WB film during the 70s. I was driving like a maniac in my teens and I blame that film and another called Gone in 60 Seconds (1974) for my craziness. I was banned from driving three times in one year and the judge threatened to lock me away if I was caught again. I spent a night in a stinking police cell when I failed community service. I was finally banned for three years, serves me right, I might have killed or crippled someone.

    Nice work Bruce. Vote Up.

    1. Hey Steve….I agree, Bisset looks very lovely on your video cover. Your 9 Bisset movies seen puts you right with Flora and her 9 seen. Your favorites are her biggest and best movies. I never saw Finney and Bisset’s Under The Volcano….but I will one day. The subject of that one has always made me reluctant to see that one….but with Finney’s passing….I am thinking I should finally see that one…..many say that is Bisset’s best performance. Bullitt tops that chart.

Interesting information on you and your driving record. Sounds like you had some lead in that foot for sure. But…we all do really dumb stuff when we are younger….I had some of the same issues in my late teens as well. This of course….makes me think….maybe you should be using the name Speedy Steve Lensman or Steve Leadfoot Lensman. Interesting information on her movies and your younger years.

  5. I have seen 9 Jacqueline Bissett movies. Six of those movies are in the top 10.

The HIGHEST rated movie I have seen is Airport.

The highest rated movie I have NOT seen is The Deep.

The LOWEST rated movie I have seen is St. Ives.

    Favourite Jacqueline Bisset Movies:

    Murder On the Orient Express
    Bullitt
    Airport
    The Detective
The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean

Other Bisset Movies I Have Seen:

    Two For the Road
The Thief Who Came To Dinner
    The Greek Tycoon
    St. Ives

    1. Hey Flora…..thanks for checking out our latest page….Ms. Jacqueline Bisset. I am only slightly ahead of you….as I have seen 15 of her movies….or 30%. I have seen 8 of her Top 10…and 9 of her Top 11….and then it gets bad….4 of the last 39 movies. I have seen 4 of your Top 5……only missing The Detective….though I have seen the sequel to that Sinatra movie. I also enjoyed Airport, Bullit and Murder on the Orient Express. Two for the Road is considered a classic…I thought it was ok at best….though it is fun seeing Finney and Hepburn act together. Good stuff.
