Want to know the best Keira Knightley movies? How about the worst Keira Knightley movies? Curious about Keira Knightley box office grosses or which Keira Knightley movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Keira Knightley movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well, you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.
Keira Knightley (1985-) is an English two-time Oscar® nominated actress. Knightley appeared in a supporting role in 1999’s Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. She gained widespread recognition in 2002 after co-starring in the film Bend It Like Beckham and achieved international fame in 2003 after appearing as Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Her IMDb page shows over 55 acting credits since 1993. This page will rank Keira Knightley movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows and movies that were not released in North American theaters were not included in the rankings. To do well in our overall rankings a movie has to do well at the box office, get good reviews by critics, be liked by audiences, and get some award recognition.
Drivel part of the page: So how did we end up writing a page on Keira Knightley? Two main reasons. One of my kids told me that almost all of my most recent pages fell in the classic movie category. They also said that it was time to do a modern-day star-like Keira Knightley. Secondly, Steve Lensman was telling me that his Keira Knightey You Tube Video was one of his most popular videos. So we figured we would try and get on the popular Keira Knightley bandwagon and give her a UMR Movie Page.

For comments….all you need is a name and a comment….please ignore the rest.
I did not think I had seen her in a movie, but I have. Love Actually.
I quite enjoy it.
Hey Flora….well your one Keira movie is one of my favorites. Others you might enjoy would be Begin Again and The Imitation Game. Thanks for the stopping by.
Not surprised that PotC is at the top of the table! Some of my favorite movies are in here. I have seen 13 of these…just over 50%! I thought it would be higher than that.
Hey Katie….13 is pretty good. Black Pearl is 1st when sorting by UMR Score. When sorting critic and audience rating…some of the P.O.T.C. falls way down the rankings. Especially At World’s End…who drops all the way to 20th. Two you might not have seen that are pretty good would be Laggies and Begin Again. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Keira Knightley born in 1985? Why she’s just a baby. We’re a long way from Lillian Gish now eh Bruce? 😉
She is popular, she’s currently the most viewed actor in my box office video series, nearly a hundred views a day.
I’ve seen 13 of the 25 films you’ve listed. I enjoyed the Pirates of the Caribbean series, especially the first one, she was just 18 in that? Whoa. And even younger in The Phantom Menace. She was good in Atonement and The Imitation Game. The newest film I’ve seen her in was Everest.
Films I haven’t seen include – Pride and Prejudice, Anna Karenina and The Duchess.
She’s pretty but I can’t imagine her as a Bond girl for some reason, maybe as Bond’s top secret daughter? 🙂
She should do a film with the Star Wars girl Daisy Ridley, they can play sisters. They look alike and even have the same smile.
Good work Bruce. Voted Up! Daisy Ridley next? What? Too soon? Okay.
Hey Steve. I think she is one of the youngest people to get a page. I know Emma Stone and Shia LaBimessedmycareerup are younger. I would be happy for 10% of your 100 daily views for this Keira page. My current star pages usually take a very long time to gather up some steam.
I have seen 23 of her 25 movies. I have seen 1 through 23….and have even seen about half of Domino. Domino is one of the few movies that I never finished….and that is saying something…because I watch a ton of crappy movies. I had never even heard of Silk before doing this page.
If Denise Richards could play a nuclear physicist Bond girl…then I think Knightley could pass as a Bond girl too…though not nearly as well as Eva Green did in Casino Royale. She is actually really good in Pride and Prejudice (hey I live in a house of women…so of course I have seen that one). I really enjoyed her in Begin Again.
Daisy Ridley probably needs a few more movies before she gets a page….but I have a feeling Daisy will be in many movies in the next few years. As always thanks for the visit and the comment.
Just watched ‘A dangerous method’ film and it is gorgeous. There are many other films that she played brilliantly, but this one just touched my heart.
Hey Tatie….I thought she was very good in A Dangerous Method….but overall I did not like the movie. She has been excellent in lots of movies. She will always be Elizabeth Swan to me…,,still hoping she will show up in Pirates 5….thanks for the comment.
One of my favorites. Watch Love Actually at least once a year. Young blood I like it.
Hey Syrah. I try and watch Love Actually every Xmas too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
