  1. this is my first comment on Liam’s UMR page. i love the contrast between original and improved UMR.
    i saw 27 including 19 of top 25. 10s and favorites: nell( foster’s most challenging role), schindler’s list. 10 not favorite batman begins. 9 and favorite: leap of faith (hidden gem). 9s not favorites: dark knight rises, the mission, phantom menace, attack of the clones. hidden gems: love actually, suspect.

    his career has a vague similarity to Gene Hackman’s who starred in only 5 of his top 30 movies on UMR. liam starred in 10 of his top 30. both prolific , hard working dudes. hackman had much more oscar love 5 nominations and 2 wins to Liam with one nomination. i am still hoping all new pages and updates will have a mechanism for designating supporting versus lead roles. maybe based in imdb billing for top 2 or 3 on each movie. not perfect but a little more informative.

The Honest Thief is currently being downloaded to the website….so add another movie to the Liam page. 27 is a great tally…..my new Liam tally is….counting….is 67. Little know Liam movies that I really liked Seraphim Falls and Cold Pursuit. Good comparison to Gene Hackman. I suspect when he stops making movies…like when Hackman did….it will take awhile to get used to no Liam movies coming. Good many reviews. I think you have Attack of the Clones way to high. Good feedback as always.

    Surprised it has Taken you this long to do a video on him. I have seen 48 of the 50 listed. Missing #37 Nell and #4 Husband and Wives (which I might have seen…get some of Woody’s movies mixed up). Favorites include #5 Kingdom of Heaven (a personal favorite and a movie that seems to gain momentum which each passing year…I am talking about the Director’s Cut and not the studio version seen in movie theaters). #2 Batman Begins….part one of one of the best trilogies of all all-time. #8 Excalibur….one of the best Arthur movies….good photo…as Liam and Helen were living together when they made this movie. #17 Love Actually…another personal favorite….watch it every year. #34 Cold Pursuit….I know you are thinking this over Schlinder’s List….I liked this movie….List is better….but I would rewatch Cold Pursuit 10 times before I go do the Schlinder road again. Overall I have seen 65 of his movie. Voted up and shared.

    1. Hi Bruce, nearly missed your comment, your tally of 48 out of 50 is quite impressive. I’ve seen 38 and Flora 3. Schindler’s List is an excellent movie but one I rarely watch, too depressing. I’d rather watch one Liam’s action movies. I liked Cold Pursuit too.

      I watched Kingdom of Heaven again a few weeks ago, one of Ridley’s best, especially the directors cut. Thanks for the comment, vote and share, much appreciated.
