- Liam Neeson was born in 1952 in Northern Ireland. He began acting in local stage shows at a very early age and eventually appeared in movies by the end of the 1970s.
- After appearing in many non-Hollywood movies….he decided to move to Hollywood and try for bigger and better roles. His first Hollywood role was in Suspect (1987)… it turned out to be an excellent decision.
- Liam Neeson starred in Shining Through (1992) which won the Razzie® award for Worst Film of the year….the good news is….his performance was noticed by Steven Spielberg and led to Neeson getting the lead role in Schindler’s List (1993) which won the Oscar® for Best Picture of the year.

- Liam Neeson has been married one time….and that was to the actress Natasha Richardson from 1994 until her death in 2009…they have two boys ….Michael and Daniel.

Hey Faith Reaper….thanks for stopping by…I think he really stands out in his 1980s supporting roles…..FYI…he met fell in love and moved in with Helen Mirren while filming Excalibur…..he only got the role because he was so tall…..and the directed wanted the fights scenes to really show a height difference between his role and the actor that played Lancelot.
When I saw Neeson’s name on your article I had to check it out. I really admire this actor and his talent is tremendous. I am waiting to see Taken2. He is comparable to the older actors with character such as Gregory Peck and Cary Grant. I enjoyed reading the facts on his movies.
