  1. This is one of my all time favorite actors. Did I dream it, or didn’t Liam star in the “Constant Gardener”? I just saw that on NetFlix and it was a great movie. Got to watch “Taken”! I tried to watch “Gangs of New York”, but I couldn’t handle that violence.

    1. Hey Mary….Ralph Fiennes is the main actor in The Constant Gardener….they actually look somewhat alike…plus Fiennes and Neeson were in Schlinder’s List together….as well as playing brothers in the Clash of the Titan movies….so I can easily see how you might get them mixed up.

Taken is pretty violent as well….probably not as realistic as the violence in Gangs of New York…but very violent. Thanks for the visit and the share. –

  2. Liam Neeson has been in so many great movies that it’s hard to remember all of them. I saw Ethan Fromme in High School since we had to read the novel and he did a great job with that. I also enjoyed him in Love Actually and the Batman movies. Unknown was kind of a headspin but he still put forth a great effort. I’m glad to hear he’s been getting more success in movies these days- he’s a very good actor

    1. Hey Alecia….I had never heard of Ethan Fromme before doing this page….but you make it sound interesting…..as Love Actually….I love that movie and watch it at least once a year…..I love the soundtrack and all the stories in the movie. Batman Begins is one of the best superhero movies ever…..Unknown was interesting but certainly not his best…..I appreciate the visit and the comments…as your contributions are always welcomed and appreciated.

  3. hank you, Coge, for featuring Liam as your subject this time. He has been one of my heroes since ‘Schindler’s List.’ I saw ‘Taken 2’ last week and although it is not as powerful as the first ‘Taken,’ it is still worth seeing. That is, Liam is worth seeing. 🙂

Excellent recapitulation of his films – as always.

    1. Hey drbj…..thanks for the mini-review of Taken 2….it is not getting the great word of mouth Taken got…but it still is close to have earned 100 million after only two weeks. I am glad after his many years of being a solid but not star actor and his personal tragedy with his wife…that is getting this great success in his career. Thanks for the awesome compliment and the visit.

  4. Hey, great movie page – I also did not know that he made so many movies. I have seen so many and enjoyed his role in SUSPECT even though he did not say a word. Good job once again. Have to see Taken 2 as I thought Taken was a good movie – violent but showing the rough side of life. GOOD JOB BRUCE. Looking for Lana Turner…

    1. Hey Bern1960….thanks for stopping by…..Suspect was his first ever American movie….and one of Cher’s better movies. Taken 2 is a monster hit and I am sure we will see a Taken 3 soon. As for Lana Turner…I have done about 30 of her 50 movies….so it should be ready soon….I will let you know when it is finished.

  5. Excellent work Bruce, Liam Neeson is a worthy subject for statistical analysis! I see you even have his heartbeat recorded there, wow… you’re such a completist… oh wait its a box office graph.

Neeson was for years Spielberg’s choice to play Lincoln in a movie he was planning and than suddenly he changed his mind and went with Daniel Day-Lewis. But Neeson isn’t too sad as you report this has been one of his best years.

Btw Neeson and Day-Lewis have appeared in two movies together, The Bounty and Gangs of New York.

I’ve seen 29 of the 52 films you’ve listed, 8 from the box office 10 and 7 from the critics 10.

Fans of Rob Roy will wince at seeing Clash of the Titans higher on the Moviescore but it was more popular.

Krull was a fun fantasy film, when will they remake that one? 🙂

    1. Hey Steve…thanks for the visit….well you have me beat by one movie….and I even had to include the five movies listed at the bottom of the hub.

I will have to check out The Bounty again…..I remember Neeson….but had no idea Daniel Day Lewis was part of the crew as well….I think it is good luck being a member of the Bounty….Donald Crisp was a crew member in the Gable version….Lewis and Neeson on the Bounty…..Errol Flynn in the early Australian version and Roger Ward in Brando’s version.

Glad you noticed his heartbeat chart…he has been under the red line for a lot of his career……I agree with you ….let’s bring back a new version of Krull…..thanks for the comment and the visit
