This guy is phenomenally talented my new Rutger haurer!!
I saw top 4. 10 and favorite dr strange. no 9, no 8s, no hidden gems I am not a fan of the other 3.
HI Bruce, I just saw your response to my comment on Jack Palance, and for some reason, I’m imagining Mads Mikkelsen as a modern and Scandinavian Jack Palance, probably because they both make elegant, high-cheek boned villains:) If there was a remake of Shane, I hope they cast Mikkelsen in the Palance role! I’ve seen 6 of the films on the list, and actually, my favorite is one where Mikkelsen played a sympathetic role, as the lead in The Hunt, where he is falsely accused of child abuse. Great film. Also liked Casino Royale and After the Wedding.
Hey PhilHoF17….as usual….your comments are pretty close to my thoughts as well. Granted I had never put together the Jack Palance/Mads visual connection…..but now I can easily see it. I have seen 15 of his movies to your 6. I most recently watched Polar…which I enjoyed, minus an unneccessary long torture scene. As for The Hunt….I am right there with you. He was getting some much desired Oscar buzz for that one. After seeing it, I realized it was much desired. I have not seen his After The Wedding….I did see the USA remake…which was alright at best. Good feedback as always.
