Hey Dan. Thanks for checking out one of our latest pages and sharing these trivia lists. I agre with you 100% on him not being on the Oracle list anytime soon. Neither list is very big compared to the many lists you have shared over the years. If you give Micheal Caine credit for Dunkirk (which Christopher Nolan does) then Caine would help him on both lists. As it is right now Kristen Scott Thomas would be his most frequent Oracle star with two movies. Interesting that you saw one of his first movies in London. Good stuff as always.
I didn’t know he died in 1964 otherwise he looks damn good for a 127 year old person.
Hey Dan. I fixed that error on his age….good catch….as well as a funny comment.
Mark Rylance, good actor, very busy since winning an Oscar for Steven Spielberg’s Bridge of Spies. I think that’s one of the few times an actor has won an Oscar for a Spielberg film. Have there been any more?
I’ve seen 8 of the 15 films on the chart. Favorites are – Dunkirk and Ready Player One.
Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!
Hey Steve. Thanks for checking out our latest page. Another close tally count…but i edge you by one….9 to 8. Seen both of your favorites…..WoC went crazy for Ready Player One. She watched the movie many times, read the book twice, read the second book once.
As for Spielberg and directing Oscar winning performances. Rylance and Daniel Day Lewis might be the only ones in that club. A few more have Oscar nominations. Christopher Walken in Catch Me If You Can, Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones on Lincoln, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes in Schlinder’s List. Good stuff.
Great UMR Page
Thank you Mike
