Mark would have made a ‘Strong’ Bond villain, or even one of the double O’s on a separate mission… he gets murdered by mysterious villain Blowhard. James Bond turns rogue agent and sets out to avenge his colleague… discovers to his horror that Blowhard is transgender and was a former flame of his… complications arise when it appears Blowhard still has the hots for Jimbo…
Nice work Bruce. Vote Up!

HI TEACH:
Thanks for the feedback. 32 “have seens”. Wow – I’m sorry now I mentioned my own negligible 3 flicks! I am sure that even Steve and Flora will be jealous of your tally.
However once again the Cogerson site has improved my education on the modern cinema and its thespians. Indeed when I first saw Mark Strong’s macho surname flagged up on the site my initial, albeit fleeting, reaction was to think that maybe it was some new role that The Rock, Vin Diesel or Statham had undertaken!
Anyway look after yourself and keep safe.
Funny comment….especially since Dwayne Johnson is about to play Adam Black. Adam is a character from the Shazam comic universe…and is known for his strength. I actually thought his name was Adam Strong. Glad our website continues to educate you. Good stuff.
Quality actor. Makes a good bad guy. Favorite would be his Sherlock Holmes role.
Hey Taylor. Thanks for the thoughts on Mark Strong. I agree he makes a good bad guy. I think when I saw his Sherlock Holmes movie, I was not really aware of him. I will have to check that one out again. Thanks for stopping by.
I have seen just 3 of Mark’s flicks: Young Victoria Before I go To Sleep and The Imitation Game. However his big screen filmography as detailed above is enormous, on top of which he has had multi-medium involvement as a actor with (1) 31 television productions (2) 7 stage plays including classics The Iceman Coming and the part of Biff Loman in Death of a Salesman(3) 6 video games.
He is now in line for a 7th video game – Squadron 42 co-starring Gary Oldman and Lensman/Cogerson Star Wars franchise idol Mark Hamill. Next up for Strong on the big screen is (1) at post-production stage Cruella, starring Emma Stone as Disney’s notorious Cruella de Ville and also co-starring Emma Thompson (2) at pre-production stage The Forgiven, a drama co-starring Jessica Chastain and Ralph Fiennes. Although not the top star in any of these projects he seems to be getting equal star billing.
IMDB credits Mark Strong with 3 acting awards and 8 noms and Celebrity Net Worth sites says that he has built up a net fortune of $9 million so far.
I have mentioned before that Hollywood actors overall are said to earn below the average US income so that after paying taxes and incurring living and other expenses any thespian who accumulates multi-million dollars NET of any magnitude is doing very well out of the profession and can consiier himself/herself a success.
“Voted Up!”
Hey Bob. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Mark Strong. I have seen 32 of his movies, most recently this weekend when WoC and I saw 1917. Strong shows up in that one around the half way mark. Thanks for the information on his other acting careers….looks like he has been very very busy. Good to see friend of UMR, Mark Hamill, still getting work….lol. I imagine Cruella will be another hit for Strong’s resume. Good stuff as always.
