  1. Wow- that’s a great analysis! I liked Matt in True Grit and thought he was funny in The Informant, a movie that did not get a lot of publicity.

    1. Thanks for commenting Wendy …he was funny in The Informant….I liked how the movie did not let us know how screwed up the main character was until the end of the movie….

  2. Okay, so I just did my best to get through the entire trailer of Gerry, and omg, they are either gay or on acid!!! Looks like a terrible movie, also Ben Affleck had nothing to do with Good Will Hunting, Damon just threw his buddy a bone, and put his name on the script. All in all, good list.

    1. BryRog57….I think watching the trailer for Gerry should count as watching the movie….thanks for commenting and reading

  3. Great page. Matt Damon remains one of my favorite actors of all time because of the diversity of his roles. Unlike Ben Affleck, who always seems to play some eternally youthful and wealthy play boy (with a few rare exceptions), Damon’s roles are as different from one another as night and day.

What I love most about Good Will Hunting is that this was literally the film that Damon, Affleck and company put their sweat and blood into. It showed the rest of us what a lot of hard work, dedication and communication can help create and it set a bar for the rest of us who are aspiring film makers.

    1. Very good points NateSean….it is great to see somebody’s hard work pay off….Damon has never looked back…Afleck stumbled some but now seems on track again…..as a director…

  4. Yes, I agree that a Bourne movie without Matt Damon is like apple crumble without custard 🙂

I guess I could say I am a bit of a Matt Damon fan but I couldn’t understand why he did Stuck on You. I have not seen it because the trailer was more than I could take but with all those other great movies that seemed a bit desperate!

    1. Hey Azure…you are not missing much by not seeing Stuck on You…it is a very strange movie….it was marketed as a comedy but it is more of a drama….but in the end ….it is just a bad movie. thanks for reading

  5. I see Hereafter wasn’t that high on the chart leaving me to wonder if I’ll like it when I get it in Netflix,I really liked the Bourne movies and hope I like The Adjustment Bureau.;)

    1. Hey Mentalist acer…..I really like Clint Eastwood movies, and I was willing to give Hereafter the benefit of the doubt….but I did not like Hereafter at all…ranked 27th here….and a 58% critic audience score….rotten tomatoes would say it was rotten….lol….thanks for commenting…and I hope you like Hereafter better than me.
