  1. I know Michael Keaton dated Courtney Cox but beyond that I’ve only ever seen a couple of his movies. But he does seem to be an underutilized actor.

    1. Hey Alecia….I imagine if he would have stuck with Lost his career would have had another spike….although I did like Matthew Fox as Jack….I think Michael Keaton would have been very interesting as Jack….I guess we will never know..thanks for checking out my latest page

    1. Hey Millionaire Tips….thanks for the vote up, thanks for the comment and the compliment and thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hey Cogerson

Great movie page again. I really like Michael Keaton & like you I am stunned that he’s almost 60. My favorite Michael Keaton movie will always be “The Dream Team” – I know it wasn’t a big hit but I think it’s very funny.

    1. Hey gunnarsrud17. Thanks for the comment. I agree with you The Dream Team is a very underrated movie….it is like a funny version of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest…and you even get Christopher Lloyd who was in both movies. I am sure Michael Keaton is stunned as well that he is almost 60….lol.

  3. I love Michael Keaton, he was the Batman I grew up with(I choose to ignore the other ones). Very nice of you to do a page for your son. Lots of decent though not great movies on the list. I am surprised The Other Guys is so highly rated, as I was unaware that he was even in the movie. Voted up and interesting.

    1. Hey Kelly….thanks for the votes and the comments. I liked Val Kilmer’s Batman….and I do not think anybody liked the George Clonney Batman. As for the other guys he plays the captain to Ferrell and Wahlberg…he has some decent moments….although it is a supporting part. As for my son…well he is a good kid….it is the least I can do for him….lol.

  4. Ah. Well… I attended Juilliard… I’m a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I’ve seen the EXORCIST ABOUT A HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN TIMES, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT… NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT YOU’RE TALKING TO A DEAD GUY… NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK? You think I’m qualified?

Great page on a popular actor Bruce, it’s a shame his star has waned but it happens to everyone, see Costner, Gibson etc

Talking of “Bruce” and “Waned” I enjoyed his two Batman movies, better than the recent ones IMO. He was good playing Bruce Wayne and his alter ego the caped crusader but Keaton couldn’t wait to leave the role and others took over.

So, no problems with your moviescore Bruce, the top three are just what I expected. The Dream Team is an underrated gem and he was an effective psycho in Pacific Heights and Desperate Measures.

I’ve seen 16 of the 29 films you’ve listed. 9 from the box office chart and 8 from the critics chart.

I didn’t know he was up for those films you’ve listed, he turned down some popular films.

Most recent film I saw Keaton in was The Other Guys which I did enjoy and have bought on blu-ray.

    1. Hey Steve…thanks for sharing a great line from Beetlejuice. I remember when that movie was so popular….I think they even made a Saturday morning cartoon of the movie. I agree with you that it is a shame that his career seems to be slowing down. I wonder what would have happened if he stuck with the Batman movies…maybe he could have stopped the madness of Batman and Robin. I have seen 22 of the 29 and both of the voice over movies…I am 10 for 10 on the Top Ten box office and the 9 for 10 for the Top Ten critic/audience table….only missing his only film he ever directed…The Merry Gentleman. As always thanks for checking out and contributing to my Keaton page.
