  1. Talented Canadian actor and comedian Mike Myers parents were from Liverpool and he moved to England for a while before returning to Canada.

I’ve seen 12 of the 19 films on the chart. Favorites are the Shrek quartet, Austin Powers trilogy and Inglourious Basterds.

    Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!

  2. I sort of liked Mike’s bombs So I Married an Axe Murderer and The Love Guru. Austin Powers: the Spy That Shagged Me made by my 10 best of 1999.

    1. Hey Dan. Thanks for the lists on Mike Myers. I agree he has had a strange career. His three franchises have left him with a nice movie legacy. As for his flops….I Married An Ax Murderer is way better than The Love Guru….I found Guru almost unwatchable. Surprised he never made another Austin Power…the third one was the most successful at the box office….then again…maybe Austin will be back in the near future. Looking at the first list….Clint Howard earns the rights as most frequent Oracle co-star…with 4 movies. A small sample of actors in the second list….not thinking that is going to grow too much…as he is already almost 60. Good stuff as always.

      1. I just wrote a long paragraph here (no lists) and accidentally erased it. I forgot about this till last night when were discussing something at dinner. My first 7 years at BMI (1995-2002) I worked under the senior Vice-President of the international department at BMI, Ekke Schnabel. Ekke retired in 2002. His son Marco fancied working in the film business. He actually directed one and only 1 film. It did play a couple of thousand cinemas in the states. The name of that film, The Love Guru. Marco also worked in some capacity on all 3 Austin Powers films. He was second unit director on Goldmember. He was also second unit director of Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. He was an executive producer or co-executive producer of 22 episodes of Noah Wyle’s Librarian series. Currently he’s co-executive producer of NCIS. I never met him but so close.
