This Milla Jovovich (1975-) page was requested by SteveLensman.  Steve has read and commented on every movie page we have ever written.  Have to admit that I was rooting for one particular Milla movie to be in the Top Spot in our rankings.  Happy to report that The Fifth Element (1997) was easily the highest rated movie according to our rating equation. No matter how many Resident Evil movies she makes, Milla Jovovich, will always be Leeloo Minai Lekarariba-Laminai-Tchai Ekbat De Sebat or as Bruce Willis calls her in The Fifth Element…..Leeloo to me.

  1. I had forgotten she was in Dazed and Confused. Talk about a great cast. Perfect Getaway is pretty good too. Have to say that I am not a huge fan of The 5th Element. Of the Resident Evil movies put me in the Afterlife group as that is my favorite one.

    1. Hey Timlin33….you are 100% correct. The budget for the salaries alone would make Dazed and Confused a big budget movie. Milla, Ben Affleck. and Matthew McConaughey look like babies in that one. I have seen all of the Resident Evil movies…but I have a heard time remembering what happens in each one…..was Afterlife the one in Las Vegas….or the desert? Thanks for checking out my latest page.

  2. The Fifth Element was my first ever Bruce Willis movie because Bruce said I reminded him of Leeloo…I spoke a lot of gibberish at 11, apparently. Will always be my favorite movie of hers!

    1. Hey Katie….it seems like only yesterday that I started your Bruce Willis movie education….hard to believe that was over a decade ago. I agree with you….I can not see any movie replacing The Fifth Element as my favorite Milla movie. Thanks for the comment and the visit.

    1. Hey S & S….she is very easy on the eyes….I have been thinking that way since she appeared in The Fifth Element…almost 20 years ago.

  3. Interesting. Love the R.E. movies. They seem to get be getting better with each new addition. I did not know she was in He Got Game.

    1. Hey 4theTruth….thanks for stopping by. I have not seen He Got Game…so I have no idea how big and how good her role is in the movie…..but it has now made my list of movies to watch list. Resident Evil movies have some nice moments…hard to believe they are already up to part 6th of the series.

  4. The lovely Milla Jovovich gets rated, ranked and moviescored at last, thank you Bruce. Like you my favorite Milla movie is still The Fifth Element, and it’s one of my favorite sci-fi films of the 90’s too. Good to see it topping the moviescore though I was surprised to see He Got Game and Zoolander at no.2 and 3, not films that come immediately to mind when I think of her movies. Dazed and Confused no.1 on the critics chart, I’m feeling dazed and confused too. 🙂
I think I had one of the Resident Evil films at no.1 on my worldwide box office countdown video but adjusted for inflation The Fifth Element retains the no.1 spot.
I’ve seen 14 of the 24 films you’ve listed, not bad, I expected more. Highest rated film here I’ve yet to see is He Got Game. I like Denzel so I should watch out for that one next time.
Excellent work Bruce, lots of facts and figures on Milla, you should link this to one her many fan clubs. Thanks for the links too, much appreciated. That other Ukranian, Mila Kunis, next? [wink]

    1. Hey Steve. Glad you like your Milla page…sorry it took so long to complete. I have not see He Got Game either…..but I thought she was pretty funny in Zoolander…..it sadly does not look like she is coming back for Zoolander 2. Glad we agree on The Fifth Element…..that is just a fun movie to watch….loaded with lots of trivia….like….(1) Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman not only do not share any scenes together….but their characters are not even aware of each other’s existence….maybe the only time a movie’s hero and villain can make that claim. (2) Almost everytime Oldman appears on screen….behind his head is a circle.
I have seen 17 of the 24 movies. I will take your advice about her many fan clubs….I have already done a page on Ms. Kunis….I guess you have forgotten….I guess it was not a memorable page…I will do better in the future…lol. As always thanks for the comment and the visit.

      1. I have the memory of a goldfish, I’ve forgotten most of the hubs and blogs I’ve written. I will check out your Mila Kunis page and see if I’ve found anything to complain about on it. 🙂
Interesting points on the hero / villain not aware of each others existence in Fifth Element, that never occurred to me, that might be unique in movies.

        1. I imagine between the two of us we have over 1000 pages sitting out there in internet land….so I will forgive you forgetting about my Kunis page. Now you have something new to look for when you watch The Fifth Element again.
