  1. Hey Kevin….$4,130,000 rentals with a multiplier of 2.5 times gets the estimated gross to $10,325,000 which meant ticket sells of 9.4 million or $79.10….so it is close but a little short. The old multiplie was 2.2….so the gross the old way was $9.08 million….so the adjusted added over a million in gross to the movie.

Your previous comment noticed the difference in rental %….but a 40% would actual make the multiplier go down versus down…..so I feel confident that Boy Did I Get A Wrong Number did not reach $100 million….it was Hope’s last box office hurrah. Hope that helps.

  2. Would BOY DID I GET A WRONG NUMBER be considered as a $100 million due to $4Million
    Box office rental?

  3. Bob Hope’s $100 million dollar movies went from 21 to 30 with the update….and his career box office went from $5.45 billion to $ 6.74 billion. Since he spent most of his time with Paramount…very little worldwide box office was available.
