(1) So Hurricane Matthew is headed out to sea. (2) Hurricane Matthew only partial reached our area…..yet it made it’s presence known. (3) Still no power. (4) Woc’s cell phone is almost out of juice. (5) In the midst of this chaos….we reached 8 million views…..as we went from 7 million to 8 million in 92 days……the quickest million yet for us.

  1. I hope you and family are safe Bruce, that was a fierce hurricane, trees overturned, cars uprooted, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!

I hate blackouts, I vividly remember when I was a kid reading HG Wells War of the Worlds by candlelight during a blackout and in a thunderstorm, which gave it a lot more atmosphere. I thought the Martians really were invading! 🙂

    1. Hey Steve…Saturday/Sunday….the storm hit…..flooding no power…..Sunday afternoon the sun came back out…..power came back late Sunday…..then Monday was the cleanup day…..and today…it is like it did not happen as things are back to normal….sadly our area is one of the few that can make that claim. That sounds like a great memory to have….candlelight and Martians…thanks for sharing that…..it helps explain a lot….lol.

  2. Sorry about your time with the hurricane but congrats on 8 million views. Impressive stats.

    1. Thanks Helakoski….yep 8 million views reached when we were without power….I will remember that for awhile.

  3. Glad everything is okay. We never get that type of weather here. So awful for the people of Haiti.

    1. Hey Chris…compared to what happened in Haiti….I feel somewhat bad complaining about some trees falling down and a power outage…..all is back to normal here….3 days later…..lots of other area can not make that claim. Thanks for the good thoughts.
